Goodness.  I’m so thankful y’all are safe.

Talk to someone.  A professional.  Make sure your kids do to.  If you want to talk more about that, give me a shout.

Thanks for the kind words. But I'm definitely not someone who was actually affected by this, my struggle is nothing in comparison to the families that have victims... They have an impossible hill to climb now. My struggle is the fact that I've basically spent my entire adult life training and carrying firearms. And yet there was nothing I could have done to prevent or help the situation. In fact, I could have made it worse for myself... Helplessness is pretty powerful...

Im fortunate. My kids are young... young enough that they still don't know what happened... Thank God.

  2. I moved my family to McKinney Texas last summer, I was in the parking lot with my two youngest kids when this happened. Most intense moment of my life. I heard what sounded like 10 rounds go off, I could tell it was across the parking lot. I grabbed my kids and yelled for them to get in the car, I unholstered my carry... And then the thought of someone responding and seeing  me with a weapon drawn... shooting at me or striking me believing I was involved flashed in my brain... I then heard another 10-15 rounds and for in the car and floored it.. I was at the opposite end. And really I am still processing. I couldn't have responded faster than that officer, I couldn't have helped. But I still struggle with it.

  3. When you think you've heard it all.... When you think it couldn't be worse.... When you think  there is no freaking way they can spin further out from the truth... Joe Biden and the DemocRats do just exactly that.

Today they are trying to bring back public transit mask mandates. Everything else is failing so miserably they have to try and stoke fear again. Fear is the only thing they have left...

  4. Mechanic here.

*Please note, internet diagnostics are next to impossible, that said...

Battery is stone dead. Replace it.

If it starts, look for a battery warning light after start  (indicating a charging system problem i.e. alternator)

If no warning lights and multiple start/stops prove okay.. Likely end of the problem.

Could have a starter issue (but from the sounds of it nah). But Id bet it ends with a battery.

Car battery's are 12VDC, but they actually produce 12.8VDC, most battery's will start to show fatigue near 12.6VDC

If you go to a forum and search that seems to be true. That's why I've been trying to get first hand experience. You guys see a bunch? What type of millage on the trucks?

Yeah, they tend to break the EVERYTHING all the time lol.

Diesel emissions issues right and left as well.

I had a fleet customer of mine purchase 15 of them... Within the first year they swapped all of them out for F150 5.0s

The regular gas Hemi trucks tend to be trouble free. I would also caution against anything Chrysler with the "3.6 Pentistar" engine
