It is not to setup the match but to finish up this last weekend's range improvements and to add more. With 4 Classifiers and 1 field course, it all can be setup on Saturday. I have worked out practice days but will announce it after the GSSF or the Red, White & Blue match.

  7. I am staying home today. Really tired and sore. Enjoy the day with the family. No match at MCTS.
  8. All good. I work solely for the club and it's members. I do this for the love not the rewards. I don't get paid for this and set EVERYTHING up myself. When I go back to work in a couple of weeks, my retirement ends.
  9. I am really sore from old man disease. Check here or https://www.facebook.com/Music-City-Tactical-Shooters-305202328523/ for the latest info about matches.
  10. I am really sore. Going to feel it tomorrow. Thank everyone for their attendance.
  11. The scheduled Glock (GSSF) practice match is cancelled but we will do a Fun Match with cardboard and Steel tomorrow. Sorry, I completely forgot about the Sunday match. We will have two USPSA Lady National Champions there. Everyone can learn from them to up their game. Hope to see you there!
  12. Great time today! Hope everyone had fun and happy the thunderstorms missed us.
  13. Thank you for coming. Couldn't have asked for a better time: beautiful weather and company. Bathroom services have been corrected and a new one on the upper range will be there by next month's match.
  14. Music City Tactical Shooters will be hosting our spring time Man vs Man (women competitors are encouraged to show up the guys) & Team vs Team steel shootout this April 22nd. Man vs Man Each competitor will warm up in random single (or double) elimination bracket system. Approx 15-20 targets each round during the man vs man elimination match. The more you win the more rounds you shoot. Choose wisely as Iron sights will have more advantage on mag capacity. Team vs Team Each team (which you pick) will consist of 3 person team in a double elimination back system. If you can't find enough, we will find you some at the range. Approx 45-50 targets each round during the man vs man elimination match. The more you win the more rounds you shoot. Rules: Your team will lay weapons on table(when instructed so). You pick the order of relay. When the buzzer is engaged, Competitor A will advance to table and load weapon, fire his/her rounds and lay empty weapon back on the table. Run back to line and tag Competitor B. Competitor C will advance to table and load weapon, fire his/her rounds and lay empty weapon back on the table. Run back to line and tag Competitor C. Competitor C will advance to table and load weapon, fire his/her rounds and lay empty weapon back on the table. Run back to line and tag Competitor A. Repeat as many times as necessary to knock down all steel.
  15. Thank you everyone for coming out. Tough match and angles on some arrays.
  16. The day before (Saturday) there was 2 sets of barrels blocking on of the TX stars (on the far right). Some competitors shot the top plate so we'll the other targets never moved to allow them a chance to even shoot at them. It happened to other competitors in another group. So instead of having a different course on different days the scores would have been altered. We also did not want to lower the round count so we thru it out on Saturday. I thought you overheard that discussion. My apologies.
  17. Thank you everyone coming out. We will do it all again tomorrow. Great stages Matt!
  18. 100 without looking based on past match designs. I will bring 150 pistol rounds but probably will need that many for shotgun also. Good to hear. I have a couple of the Shadow 2, come out and give it a try.
  19. I guess I will shoot shotgun. Are we reloading(and there will be a bunch) from belt area with holders or pockets/old clay vest?
  20. Great seeing a new group of Military guys there. They loved it at lunch but looking forward to the Falling Steel match next weekend. Matt, Don't screw it up..... LOL.
