    Best Pranks

My favorite was always Saran wrap on the toilet bowl. Stretch it tight and put the seat down, it disappears. You can imagine the result.
  2. That looks like some type of Yew. It al depends on what type of soil you have, how much maintenance you are willing to do, and what look you are going for. If you are looking for screening ONLY, I would suggest one of the clumping varieties of bamboo (make sure it's a clumping variety or your neighbors and everyone else will have bamboo), variegated Japanese ligustrum (privet) can be sheared into a nice hedge form, those two are also pretty inexpensive. A combination of Foster Holly's, Arborvitae, and large Viburnum would also make a good screen. If you are looking for something mean to hurt anyone that gets in it let me know and I can come up with something for that application also.
  3. I don't know what the abbreviations stand for but...what the hell??? How did that thing get in there?
  4. I would also like to find out where Collection Connection is located. I have heard Grady's name before, is his place off of HWY96?
  5. Man it's snowing over here.
  6. Bump Ha Ha
  7. mmm....Yeah
  8. Some of you guys may already have this information so please disregard if it is a repeat. I went to Dicks earlier tonight and they had Remington UMC 9mm for $9.98/50. Don't know if it was a sale or mispriced but the day after thanksgiving the American (can't remember the name) was $14.99 and they said it was the cheapest they carry. I can only assume the Remington would have been higher. Thought I would pass it along. btw - I bought the last 10 boxes they had on the shelf in Murfreesboro :-). Sorry, I 'm just greedy like that!
  9. I have done both. I have handed the officer the permit with my license and not given it to him at all. The one I didn't give it too asked if I had a weapon in the vehicle when he returned. I said yes sir. He asked where it was and told me to leave it there and keep my hands visible. No sweat there. The officer I gave it too already knew me pretty well and just asked how many concealed handguns I had on me...lol. He just wanted to see my new pistol, it was the only reason he pulled me over.
  10. IMO just wear it. Practice drawing the weapon some (unloaded of course). The only other thing I would suggest if you want to speed up the process is to wrap the pistol in one layer of waxed paper and insert it in the holster and leave it for several days. Same principal as the plastic bag but the wax will help it slide a little better when you are done. Just remember it's easier to stretch the leather than it is to shrink it back, so patience is the best policy.
  11. I bought a lot of my supplies at Pioneer Gun Shop in McMinnville and Gamalia Shooters Supply in Gamalia, KY. Unfortunately Pioneer Gun Shop has been out of business for many year (god I loved that place!). But Gamalia is one of the largest skeet, trap, sporting clays, suppliers that I know of. If you happen to drive up there, and it is worth the drive, make sure to stay away from the rooms to the right when you first come in the building. It gets..o..so expensive in there...lol. Last time I was there they had several 5 barrel sets as well as several Perazzi shotguns in smaller safes.
  12. I used to reload STS & AA loads for about $2.10/25, but I haven't reloaded any in a long time. I know that many of my AA's were loaded at least 8 times. The ribbed hulls were only good for about 3-4 reloads, I think they must be designed to split.
  13. LOL...Mike made a holster for my PF9 and I absolutely LOVE it. It goes everywhere that I do (except for work...errr). I think my Kimber needs a nice leather jacket for Christmas now!!
  14. Astra this might be a long shot. I would think it would be pretty simple to find a dimensioned drawing of the new bullet you want on the internet. Most good machine shops should be able to take that drawing and modify the mold. I have had several items machined in the past from an accurate drawing and a verbal description of what I wanted done. In Murfreesboro, I would recommend U.S. Machine & Tool. It might be worth giving them a call. David Garvin can probably answer your question over the phone.
  15. That just brought up something else...are the soft lead bullets okay for target ammo? I have been shooting FMJ. I vaguely remember something about the soft lead causing problems with Glock barrels. Would it cause a problem in a Kimber or Kel-tec?
  16. Nice!!

    Palm Gun?

You'll shoot yer eye out! lol
  18. Personally I don't want my carry weapon to have a break pressure anywhere near my target pistol. I'd shoot myself.
  19. Hummm...this may be an outdated reference but...didn't London burn at least once already? I bet the lack of fire extinguishers was a huge help then.
  20. Yep, and how her "baby" didn't deserve this.
  21. H&H .700 - Dislocated my shoulder...ouch.
  22. What equipment would be necessary to get started? I know I would obviously need a press & dies, powder measure and scale, depriming & priming tool. Anything else that would be handy to start? I'm seriously looking at the RCBS Supreme Rock Chucker Reloading Kit...any experience or opinions on the kit?
  23. Awesome. Sounds like I could almost pay for the equipment with the difference between the purchased price and the reloaded price of the first 1000 rounds. Thanks for the info, sounds like several of you guys have been reloading for quite a while. Man this stuff is still addictive after all these years!!
