  1. Heal up quickly, just tell the Dr. that he should see the other guy. LOL I just finished washing my F150 and the wife's RX350, I'm whooped and sitting on the ice pack now. I'll be stiff and sore later today, and tonight. I'll have to find something to get into tomorrow to work a bit of the stiffness out. LOL
  2. I had a couple/3 yaks that I used for fishing, so can't be much help. I had 2 Wilderness System yaks and they were well made, but HEAVY, so.... Also had one with a trolling motor on it, but like I said, used for fishing. LOL
  3. Met with seller today, good guy, more than fair prices IMO, all items were as described, in great condition.
  4. I'll take the 8# of IMR 8208 for $220 North side of Chattanooga would be great for me if all possible. PM with details.
  5. I have a Crossman 302 (?) pump 22 cal pellet rifle from my youth. I sent it off to have it rebuilt a couple years back since it was 50+ y/o and would not hold air anymore. Has the wood stock and still puts the blackbirds down with one shot if I do my part. Open sights, old eyes don't always work together for me, but I still have fun scaring the birds, etc.
  6. There is "Shipmygun.com", there is a thread about it on another forum I frequent, but I have no first hand experience with it. Just a PSA if anyone is interested.
  7. Gonna need to work up the courage to ask about that one. LOL
  8. I've seen this on the news, but I wonder why they (whoever that is) decided to change the descriptive phrase from UFO to UAP. Hoping no one would figure out they are the same???
  9. Any other fuses on the tractor, may have popped a fuse to the seat safety.
  10. It depends on the application/use for me but I shoot varmints (pdogs & sage rats) and RFBR. I have mostly 22 caliber CF rifles so the recoil is lower but several hundred rounds per day is not unusual. I have Athlon Talos 6-24 scopes on most of my varmint rifles, with MOA & Mil recticles. Still can't tell much difference between those two but I haven't spent any time on that topic either, I usually hit what I aim at, or give the critters a hair cut anyways which is almost as much fun as giving them flight lessons. These work well for me out to 400 yds which is pretty much the limit of these calibers. I use Sightron 45x ED's on 2 of my RFBR rifles, and will use a Weaver 36x on a CZ 457 I'm putting together for ARA factory class. I did not care for the glass in the Sightron SII 36x, I've used 2 and the glass and my eyes just did not work well together. Other's like them, I prefer the Weaver 36x at this power, but I really like the Sightron 45x with ED glass, world of difference between their 36 and 45's. I don't have any Sightron scopes on my CF rifles as I have found the Athlon work well for the intended purpose IMO.
  11. I would test the "odd" increments now, 48.1, .3. etc.
  12. Prayers for you and your family
  13. My initials and wife's initials are JP, so x2, and I had a HD RK at the time and the license plate for it was jpx2rk.
  14. The wife and I stopped at the one in Crossville a week or so ago for S&G (me), and I filled up the truck. I saw a sticker/notice on the pump that indicated there were over 200 gas pumps at this location but I did not bother to count them for accuracy. Wife went in to use the bathroom and came right back out. I went to the bathroom after I gassed up, and had the immediate thought of a gas station with a mini-walmart attached to it. It was crowded inside the store and outside at the pumps. I did walk thru the store to get a sense of it all, and I also knew that the truck was parked at the end of the store, so went into the store from the other end just to get some exercise. I've thought that the new one being built in Sevierville will just make exit 407 worse than it already is, with the backward lane crossovers, etc. Sevier Co Sherriff's Dept will need a FT person there for traffic control and accident reporting.
  15. I worked around the house trimming some trees the wife wanted done on Tuesday and Wednesday, and was breezy here. Never broke a sweat which was nice but the pollen sucks. No complaints tho. I went fishing today since the wind dropped off and was a beeuttfull day to be on the water with no numnuts in sight. Had the honey hole all to myself but it didn't produce today. Still a good day.
  16. Just paid my HO and Auto insurance, both policies went up by substantial amounts, I attributed the increases to the increased values of RE and used autos, replacement values, etc., Autos are a 2022 and 2018.
  17. I got my "updated" or new assessment last week, it almost doubled, not quite, but damn close. I have heard that the powers that be lowered the tax rate to where the tax bill for 2023 will be basically the same as 2022, but now they have lots of room to go up on the tax rate. I believe but not certain that all property must be "re-appraised" every 3 yrs by law, as new owners were getting hammered on taxes while the people who lived in the same house for decades were getting a break as the property was not being re-assessed when sold.
  18. Sometimes a person needs to hear the "facts" from the left side and the right side, and the truth could/usually is somewhere close to the middle.
  19. Heard about it but it would take the goobermint a long long time to plan and implement a new digital currency. Who would accept it a legal tender is another issue.
  20. I use to go to the both Bristol races years ago, but when they "repaved" the track, it ruined Bristol IMO. I still watch, but don't follow it as much as I used to as all the drivers I followed or rooted for have retired. LOL
  21. What is the headstamp(s) on the 223? Bolt gun or semi? Crimps intact if applicable??
  22. You should be able to "block" the senders address so any further emails would just go to your junk mail folder if your email app offers that feature.
