  1. The tag is simply a tracking tag used on serialized components during production. They are tracked from a semi-finished state due to when serialization takes place and before they are finished and destined for a specific finished SKU. There was a stage where we were leaving them on completed guns during packaging.
  2.   Everything we produce in the US will be produced in the Gallatin facility.  So for now, that includes the 92/M9 family, the Nano, Pico, PX4 Subcompact, Neos, and the Bobcat and Tomcat pistols.     In addition, we produce the A300 shotguns, and the ARX100 rifle.     And hopefully will be more to come in the future, as we are setting the stage for a ton of capability and capacity at the new "campus".     Would love that, but hear there is like a 3 year wait list!  I have been shooting a few IDPA evenings with the TAP group at Sumner Gun and Supply on Wednesdays.  I have very little experience with that stuff, but had a good time so far at least!   Thanks for the warm welcome.  It is truly remarkable how people are receiving us here in Middle TN.  I almost think I know what it is like to feel like a rock star!   :biglol:       I will mention (if OK by the moderators) that we will be auctioning off a few factory tours next Friday night (for use in the coming few months) at the "Night Out with Station Camp" fundraiser for the Station Camp band.  If anyone is interested in tickets to the dinner and auction, I might know someone who can help...   Steve
  3. We are already working currently and regularly with Ernest.  He was key in the connection with Wilson, and we have a few projects in the works including the PX4 Compact Carry shown at SHOT last month.     He taught myself and a few others his approach to trigger/action jobs on the 92 a while back.     We are getting smarter, just give it some time...
  4. I just tried to register.  Not sure if I was successful.  I went in to edit and it asked for my IDPA number, which I do not have, and would not let me update.   In any case, I will be there!
  5.   Heh, I would be happy to get 1000 M9A3's ON a truck right now!!   Moving a big and complex operation tends to make things a bit difficult!   :hyper:
  6. We moved our family to Gallatin recently (last June), and I am finally starting to spend most of my time in the area.   I am the Director of Product Development and Engineering for Beretta USA (relatively new, just shy of two years) and we are just starting to ramp up in our new facility in Gallatin.     Happy to be out of the DC area for sure!   I hit the TN Action Pistol shoot this past Wednesday (Feb 3rd) and had quite a bit of fun.  Didn't do so great, but I didn't cause any "incidents" so that is a good start.  Met a bunch of nice people, and look forward to continuing that when I can, and poking around the forums.
