  3. Barrel Cutting Cost

Hey y'all. I have a 7mm08 that wanting to have cut down from 22.5 inches to 19. I'm having trouble finding someone to do it close to me in southern middle tn. I got 2 quotes from different smiths. Both quoted me at $90. That seems high to me but maybe not. Anybody know anyone that does a good job or if those prices are pretty standard? Thanks! 4. Will ship the whole package to your FFL for $675 Also willing to take off scope and sell for $550 cash or $575 shipped to FFL
  5. my little buddy

That's cool man. Did that with my daughter this year. She helped me clean fish with a butter knife too. She was there when her mama and I cleaned a deer this year too and now when she sees a knife, she'll say, "Daddy, we cut the deer meat?" LOL. She saw a pink knife on the computer the other day and said, "Daddy, I get that one and cut the deer meat."
  6. TTT.... Dropped price to $650 for the setup. This rifle new is $750 at Buds without their Cash Discount. $65 new for the scope mount and about $235 new for the scope which has Accu-Range reticle. This is really a great rifle. I just have my heart set on something else and need to sell this to make that happen. Also have about 50 pieces of once fired brass I'll throw in if you want them. I don't reload, just kept these in case I ever got into it.
  7. Remastered 870

    Sweet lookin gun. Good job!
  8. Everything weapons in brentwood usually keeps them when I've been in there.
  9. New M&P on the way

These look pretty cool. Looking forward to seeing what that trigger is like. Loved everything else about the M&P's
  10. 10 mm vs .40 S&W

Good choice. I was going back and forth between a G29 or 20 and a G23 when I first started carrying a few years ago. Could only get one gun at the time and thought the 23 could do a little of everything. I ended up going to 9mm and a G20 will be the next pistol I buy. 9mm for the streets and 10mm for the woods.
  11. Deal Alert, Glock 43

Dang that's a good price. They're sweet too. I rented one not long ago and it was a good shooter.
  12. Sold on another forum. I have a Savage 116 FCSS in 300 Win Mag that I bought new in 2012. It's a great shooter and an awesome gun. I've just been wanting to get a lighter, more compact gun so I'm selling this one. Has a few small scratches and normal wear and tear from deer hunting. The soft rubber recoil pad is a little ruffed up etc. But the rifle is in good shape. This model has the Accutrigger and Accustock. This gun will also come with a DNZ scope mount and a 4x12x40 Redfield Revolution mounted on it. I'm in Giles county. Prefer to meet FTF. Willing to meet anywhere south of Nashville. $650 cash for the setup. Also willing to take off scope and sell for $550 cash or $575 shipped to FFL Would also be interested in trades for short, compact, stainless rifles. Something like a Model 7 or Savage 16 LWH in 7mm-08 or 6.5 Creedmoor. Or Tikka t3 Stainless
  13. Savage 16 Lightweight Hunter

Thanks for posting that Rob. Like the OP, I've been looking at these too. I have a 116 in 300 win mag but have been thinking of going to one of these in 6.5 creed as a do it all kinda hunting gun. Do you think you'd like it more in a lighter cartridge like the 243 or 6.5?
