  1. That's for a LOT of things back then
  2. What make a 22 dirty? The type of power, the way it's fired > rim instead of center? My 22 rifle (single, bolt) doesn't seem to get any "dirtier" than my 9mm handgun, with the same amount of rounds fired. ===== In my youth (20's I'm 69 now) I don't remember 22 being dirty.

    Gun Shows

Thanks :-) Ex-FL, in the area I'm from they had the gun shows in area civic centers. One was always a good show the other (smaller building) not so much. Both had good section of WWII guns and out country guns. Is one a better show or are they both good?

    Gun Shows

Been in east TN for 13 months, looking to start visiting Gun Shows. What are the options around Knoxville and eastward, within an hour of Rutledge. Thanks! :-)
  5. Have over 150 Shorts now :-) That is all Dad used, he lived on the edge of town, didn't want to draw attention when taking out the raccoon, possum and starling that came on the property. Thanks for sharing some family history and ammo info.
  6. Thanks for the Great info. This is the ONLY 67A like it, was my Dad's :-) My cleaning may have been the FIRST time since Dad got it, didn't find any gun cleaning stuff in the house. I am behind in 22 modern ammo spec's. At one time you got Mini-Mags for a HOT load. Looks like it can handle any "modern" load, what have you used?
  7. Sorry why I name it a Remington instead of a Winchester <<< BRAIN dumb!!! Has only had "22 Shorts" in it and only around 200-300 fired. My Dad got this with S&H Green Stamp!! Looking for a non-modifying mount, drill/taping is a no. Thanks for the info
  8. Wondering if there is any info on mounting a scope, doesn't have any kind of rail system. A guy on youtube did it but doesn't have a video of doing it just a video of firing the 67A.
  9. With my FL CCP in IL, I can carry my gun from the glove box to the trunk and from the trunk to the glove box. I don't bother anymore when going to see my folks.
  10. The only other state for me is IL and they don't reciprocity FL or TN. I can wait till 2020
  11. I'm behind in this, need an assist. Moved here in Sept2018 from FL. Have a FL CCP, which TN doesn't recognize as I've been here more than 6 months. What are my option with the new law. Thanks

    FL to TN

My Sweetie (wife) and I were up for our 10th Smokys visit, first week of May. Moved to FL some 30+years ago, retired 1 and 3/4 years ago. Now house is for sale, moving to Rutledge, TN. Have a FL CCP, good for 2 more years. How soon will TN want me to change to TN CCP after I move to TN? Will TN honor the classes I took to get this, OR will I need to take TN classes? Classes were conducted by a NRA certified instructor. I passed with both of my hand guns. NOT required, I had both with me. Thanks for the assist!! :-)
  15. As a owner from FL coming to Sevierville (family visit) have a FL CCP. What are my options when walking the street of area's other than the Smokie's and Dollywood. This wasn't a concern in May when we were there. We were only there for 3 days and most of that time was in the Smokie's, gun was in glovebox. This visit >> Gatlinburg with trolley rides << you know visitor stuff! :-)
