  2. Thanks I'll send him a message Any opinion on the new TiRant vs the old version? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Where is the best place to pick up a TiRant? I was able to attach one to a pistol and was amazed how light it was. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Well finally picked up the evo. Hoping to find a place I can rent silencers to try before I buy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. My experience is that resizing dies are pretty close to the same. Your technique will have more of an effect on precision than the die itself (assuming the die is machined to spec). Carbide rifle sizing dies are very expensive and you still have to lube the cases, all mine are tool steel. For semi auto rifles FL dies are a must. My 223 setup is: 1. Lee sizing die FL (also have small base of doing military brass) 2. Swage if needed 3. Trim with Giraud trimmer 4. Send through progressive for primer/powder/seating You must at least check case length on bottleneck cases. I run mine through the trimmer after every firing to ensure that they are all to the same length. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks. I actually have their Checkmate QD and have been very happy with it so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. What are your thoughts on the Griffin rev 9? It seems to be very similar to the octane just has the option to go with a K setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. What do you guys think about the omega 9k Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks guys for the suggestion. Those both seem to be top of the range in performance. I'm having a hard time paying as much for a 9mm suppressor as I did my 30cal. Have I set unrealistic expectations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Bump...any help would be appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I do the ammo can thing, but like you I've found I always need what's at the bottom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hey guys, Possibly picking up a 9mm carbine in the near future, what are your guys suggestions for a 9mm suppressor? I already have a 30 cal and 22, so it doesn't HAVE to be a multi use unit. Requirement order: 1. Hearing safe. Doesn't have to be Hollywood quiet but something in the 130db would be more than adequate. 2. Price. I already have a SBR 300blk that is scary quiet. Something 3. Size/weight/material 4. QD vs direct thread. I have used both and while a QD is nice to have, it is less important than the three above The short term plan is that this will live exclusively on the carbine. Sometime in the future I may put it on on a 9mm pistol. I haven't fully decided if I want to invest in a barrel for my g19 yet. Also, would it be better to go ahead and go with a 45cal silencer so I could run more than a .357 bullet through it? Thanks, Dallas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Absolutely it's a good idea. I went through the same thing when I picked out one for my 300blk. I knew from the start that I would be shooting supersonic at times so decided to get one rated to do both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If he is only shooting subs why would he have supers? They do make 9mm suppressors that can handle 300 magnum pressures, it just adds weight and cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. If you are only looking at sub then a 9mm suppressor will do the job. They are typically a little cheaper than a 30cal version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Super or subsonic? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Are they low enough to justify driving to Knoxville instead of cabelas or north ga reloading? I've been to the show in Cleveland a few times but it's pretty dang small. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Do you know what shows David goes to? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks for the info. Calhoun and Benton aren't too far from me so I may swing by next weekend and see what they have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks I'll check out sportsman's warehouse. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks I'll send them a message. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Thanks. A little far but I do have a buddy who works in that area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yea actually live in Cleveland but figured there was a larger selection in Chattanooga. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Hey guys, Just wondering where are the best places to buy supplies in the Chattanooga area. Also, are there any local bullet casters? Thanks, Dallas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I could use one actually. My original is getting pretty rough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
