  1. No, I wish I knew myself. There's kits you can buy to do it yourself but, they aint cheap. Unless you are doing a lot of parts.
  2. Wow, a pond. I guess they was a little dirty. Glad they fired good.
  3. The only experience I've ever had with one was a friend that had a N.E.F. .35 Whelen. He said it was a deer hammer. I don't doubt that. I can't think of any companies that are making them now. I'm sure they're probably still available.
  4. Does anybody know what the rifles are that 2 ladies are holding in the first pic?
  5. Yeah, always be careful. Watch powder charges, primers, and bullet diameters. Glad you didn't get hurt prag.
  6. A friend of mine had one years ago and it was a fairly accurate rifle. Plenty accurate for groundhogs out to 200 yards or so. Normal groups that he was getting was about 3/4" at the best. But, it was light and with a hammer spur worked good with a scope. The best i can remember was the trigger pull was fair. Not really stiff but, not a target grade trigger. Wood was a walnut stained, wood. Probably birch or something similar in color.

    Ruger LCP

The EC9s would probably be a good one too.
  8. Yeah, like Greg said they make great hunting rifles. I killed my best deer with one.
  9. Nice bucks. I'm a turkey guy too. I like seeing the turkeys. The 9 point looks good. Maybe a 3 1/2 year old?

    Ruger LCP

They seem like great little guns. Pretty much everything from Ruger is good.
  11. He told me they should have one on the 25th Saturday.
  12. Sorry, its been a while since I've been on here. Been kinda busy this whole year with work. But, I found out that they usually have a shoot down there every other Saturday at 9:00 am.

    Ruger LCP

The LCP II interests me. I've looked up info and Dunham's at Cookeville I think has them.
  14. No I didn't ever get down that way. I've been working just about every single day. I do need to call sometime and get some info. Thanks.

    bluing

One thing about cold blueing is you got to get it super clean. Get all the oil, dirt, and as much of the old blue as you can. Some guys even heat the metal some. Make sure the metal finish is really smooth too.
  16. Yeah, the turkey shoots. I've been meaning to try that out for a while. Do you know any info like rules, etc.
  17. I was wondering if anybody knew some info on the matches they have there? Dates, rules, distance on the range, etc. Thanks.
  18. I wondered if a H&R 088 barrel would fit most any H&R shotgun receiver?
  19. I see a quail every once in a while. When I do it' like seeing some kind of rare exotic animal. I hope they come back on the next few years.
  20. Anybody else had any luck? I've been a few times but, haven't heard many. Heard one Wednesday morning about 11:00 but, didn't have time to go after him because of work. Come on guys post sumpin'.
  21. Alright congrats. Keep'em coming.
  22. Thanks Whiskey. I've not even came close to calling in another. Maybe in the morning before work.
  23. Dont' let it get you down. It happens. I'm gonna try to hunt this afternoon. Gotta work today. Good luck to everybody.
