I've heard about this company coming to Tn. and have looked at them on their site. Nice looking guns and have heard good reviews. I wish they would come out with other calibers. Bigger calibers would require a bigger gun design though. Might not ever happen..........

Looks good. The stocks on a lot of these Type 53 rifles are in bad shape. That's probably why somebody put the synthetic on. You gotta love Mosins.

Nobody has posted on this in a while. I wondered if anybody had got another bird or had been hunting? I've not done any good in the last week? I've heard several but, haven't got any to come in. Good luck to everybody.

Has anybody heard of any kids killing birds today or yesterday?

I tried the Longbeard XR shells for the first time in 2015 and they shot awesome in my old Mossberg 500 with a Hastings .640 choke. I shoot the #4 shot and killed 4 birds. One was a little better than 50 yards. I don't really recommend that but, honestly I didn't even know it was that far. Put him right down though.

I've talked to people that say they have seen them. Whether they have really seen them is a mystery. But, I do believe that they believe they saw Mountain lions.

I remember seeing them in a magazine a few years ago but, don't remember them being that expensive. WOAH!

I went this morning and hunted a little while but, saw more dogs running deer than deer. The last 3 times I've been hunting I've seen dogs running deer.

A chronograph is definitely something that I want to get someday. I've been handloading for almost 30 years and have never chronoed a load of mine.

If your loading for a lever rifle, you will need to crimp your bullets in place, and the cases will need to be the same or pretty close to the same length. Its not as hard as it sounds. I've done it a lot of times. I used to load a lot of .30-30 ammo.

This is good ammo for the price. Shoots decent and the brass looks good. I'm trying to get set up for .45. I've said for years that I didn't want to take on another caliber but, the .45 just grows on me.

I like revolvers too. I just have one right now but, have owned several over the years. I've got a Ruger Security Six with 6" barrel. Great gun that I've had since '86.

I've killed a few while deer hunting but, I've not tried calling them in years. A buddy of mine calls them and I need to try and get together with him sometime for a hunt.

I've got Frankfort Arsenal bullet puller and I 've pulled several but, not 1440 at a time.

I've went yesterday and the day before and only saw about 5 does. Got up this morning and it was pouring like piss out of a boot. maybe tomorrow. Good luck to everybody that's still in it.

Yeah, accuracy in most shotguns with a single bead would be tough to get. I shot .357 ammo with the chamber adaptor in my turkey shotgun that has two beads. It is a little more easy to sight accurately. I don't know how a shotgun with rifle sights would be. I've heard the adaptors that are longer give better accuracy.

I gonna try and go Wednesday morning after I get off work. I worked last night and had some stuff to do this morning and Tomorrow is a bust too. But, Wednesday looks good.

The best I could get was about a 10" group at 25 yards.

I bought one a few years ago from I think it was Dina Arms or something. It is a .357 Mag. for 12 Gauge. The accuracy is not very good. It didn't hurt my shotgun any though.

I've not got to hunt much because of work. We've worked almost every weekend for about 5 weeks. Probably will work this weekend too. Can't wait until Christmas break. Usually have got a decent buck by now..............
