  1. Only if they are into bondage. I think the item is a handcuff holder the more I look.
  2. That has come up in my search, but the GLT leads me to believe it is a company not the show. Especially since the logo is on the back of the item.
  3. Picked up a grab bag box of stuff and I have a leather piece in there I cannot identify. I cannot seem to find the company even thought my Google skills are usually pretty good. Anybody recognize the logo? Thanks
  4. And you duct taped it back together, right. Lol
  5. I am not at the point that I trust my machining skills for something that needs to contain an explosion that close to my body. I know 80%s are billed by some as "invisible", but if I want an AR that is not registered to me, I can pick up any number of local person-person ones on sale.
  6. The first gun I bought on my own was a Marlin 60. I think everyone needs one. Great guns. And yes the Glenfield name was sort of a store brand line Marlin did. Lots of times (as far as I read) the difference might only be that the wood for the stock was cheaper. Oh the days when you could buy guns at the auto parts store... I miss 'em
  7. No name Brazil made .410 single shot shotgun. My Papaw gave it to me to squirrel hunt. Still at my Dad's, but I still have it. Would be hard for me to give it up. That said. I have every gun I have ever had. Just a thing with me.
  8. So this is essentially an upscale yard sale with an organizing company. Lol
  9. Yeah, screw this. An auction means bidding and possible good pricing... I bet he is asking top dollar. Who has an estate sale when the person is still alive?
  10. I have one too. Traded a guy some crap com spec Ar handguards (I got for free) and $20 for it. The barrel wiggles, but it does go pew every time. Mine is .22 Short only. Kinda got it just to have an example of one of the worst guns. Plus you never kbow when someone might break in, grab it, and I have to shoot them to save my own life......
  11. The good old days when people had 3 Thompson's and no one shot their dog.
  12. What they really are thinking is that car would be more expensive to repair/replace I bet. They can't say that though.
  13. I have a G1 and like it. I hear lots of good things about the G2s.
  14. So is a semi-auto a requirement? You might open up to a .38 revolver and you have a lot more to pick from. The Taurus Model 85 .38 runs $329 at Cabela's and has a $40 rebate right now. The model 605 is a .357 for $350, but no rebate. Just a thought. You can't get more "manual safety" than a revolver.
  15. I had to stop reading and compose myself. When the words Dremel and the name of a firearm come in the same sentence, I break up a little. I would have totally done the same to get with the ATF. Better to head trouble off beforehand. Good luck getting the serial re-done.
  16. Teach you to move to KY. LoL There is as reason there is as lube named after it.... I spent too much time in that state working. It would take the end of th e world to make me move there. Off-topic, I know. I have looked at other insurance companies, but have never found as much better price for the same coverage. That is unless I go with one of the cut rate internet places. I have had a few house and car claims in the last 10 years and my insurance has been nothing but accommodating to get things fixed.
  17. Well out of TN, I would need a local face to do the buys. Here in TN, I would be fine. I just want to see the non-junk stuff end up with someone who appreciates it. Yeah lots of flags considering the shooting officer's record of issues.
  18. Maybe they ran out of space after showing the gazillion items being sold. Lol
  19. May I inquire what "a bit of an issue with a serial number" is?
  20. Wives like to demand. That does not always mean what they demand can be done. I can demand to have a Lamborghini every day....still not gonna happen

    VICTORY

Is this the story you are working on to explain to your wife where her cats went? Good 1st draft. Lmao
  22. Looks like my Emperor Assault 12 kinda. Interested, why did you just not look to pick up a used pump or semi if you wanted a beater? Or get a Maverick 88. They are pump but usually $190 any day.
  23. It could be both. Maybe someone in charge of the buy back sold some of the guns and this officer bought one and used it to plant. You would think he would be smart enough to know not to plant it if he knew it was a recorded serial number from the buy back. And it looks in good condition for that many years, not like it has passed around gangland for years. I have heard horror stories of the buy-backs. Street sweeper shotguns, German Lugers, Colt Pythons, AKs, and mint condition military rifles all getting turned in for a $100 or $50 gift card. Next one they have, I need to show up with a wad of cash in the parking lot. Or set up a table giving out cards worth twice as much....I bet you would still clean up. LOL
  24. I say string up the judge for turning the S&W in for $100 gift card. And it was his Dad's gun...... Everyone knows you only turn in old broken .22s and throw a way guns to these buybacks.
