  1. To save you some work in the future (if you do something like this again) there are boards like Freecycle and Trashnothing that you can post stuff free to give away. Then have people pick it up. As long as you are ok with people at your house. I gave away a pile of leftover gravel and form wood away that way. I also gave away some old furniture that way too. Sure beats trips to the dump. I bet there would be interest in river rock.
  2. We used to see this when my Papaw had bees. Sometimes they would swarm and leave or sometimes he would go to someones house to cut a swarm out of a tree to bring to an empty hive. It used to be pretty common when bees were way more plentiful.
  3. Wow. I shouldn't be surprised, but the stupidity... I was hoping he got bit. He does happen to know that killing a native species of snake is illegal in most states. And the "gang" symbol hand gesture at 39 sec. just cements how TOTALLY stupid this guy is. Just walk around the snake and keep going unless you are in a situation where you need a food source.
  4. DPMS PANTHER ORACLE BLACK .223 / 5.56 NATO 16-INCH 30RD $439 but has a $75 rebate to end up at $364 after rebate http://grabagun.com/dpms-panther-oracle-223-16-30rd.html
  5. Nice, but I have a feeling the effect would wear off quick...unlike a 12ga slug.
  6. Most days I like opportunities to improve my income . That would be a painful story to explain in jail though. "I stole fake boulders"
  7. A lot of strip malls and apartment complexes near me are using these to hide water or electrical boxes so that it is "more aesthetic" It is better than burying them where you have to dig them up.
  8. We have enough trouble with electronics at dinner without the centerpiece chiming in. lol
  9. Look up crow traps. They make kinds you can catch a bunch in at once. If you do, then you can dispose of, relocate, or cook them up.
  10. Uhhh...How about a SCARECROW.......Sorry couldn't resist.
  11. I have not had this issue, but most of our windows have screens. I do have the woodpecker on the gutters sometimes though. Mine is always early in the morning on a weekend too.
  12. My guess is a breed of moth. Best guess is. Luna Moth. Luna Moth on Wikipedia
  13. I understand. I am still at the piddling stage, but I like sitting with my lacing pony. My only issues is that I stress over the design long before I even start making it. I over plan things like that.
  14. Looks like some good solid work. Are you hand stitching?
  15. Ok, so not quite as classic, but my first car was a blue and white 1980 Cadillac Coup Deville. The trunk was big enough for a 6' 2" man to stretch out in, you could (*cough*) sleep comfortably in the back seat, and the fuzzy dice on the rearview mirror topped it all off. I loved that car in spite of it needing an engine rebuilt. 35 was max speed on medium size inclines. That probably saved my life though as I had one heck of a lead foot. I hated when I had to sell it. I ended up driving a crap brown Pontiac 6000 for years after that.

    New toys

Upside we find of Dewalt is that our guys can run by Lowes and buy a new drill or whatever if one dies and they are not close to the office.
  17. I know you have probably already looked, but the 2017 Standard Catalog of Firearms states the post ban Colt Match Target Lightweight is valued at 900 nib, 800 exc, and 650 vg. Take that with a whole spoon of salt though with the way prices are diving. I do not see a definite match for the DPMS there.
  18. Peejman I can't say I have. Dad had lots of vinyl with street racing songs, but I don't remember this one.
  19. I never knew they existed growing up. Of course my dad is a Chevy guy, so we had a 60's Chevy van, a Nova, then an Astro Van. Not a lot of brand variety. lol
  20. That one looks nice. My wife's uncle has a Rambler, but not sure what year.
  21. So Gander Mountain is closing and Bass Pro bought Cabela's. I guess that leaves Bass Pro and Academy as the big box. At least in my area.
