No, I didn't. She said I could not "escalate" my call up to the Pres/CEO Anthony Acitelli. Same song and dance as before.

Well the CEO is a last ditch effort. She can escalate you to HER direct supervisor. If you don't want to do more calls, do the letter I mentioned and Facebook if you do it.

I did do a quick web search for stores that have that gun in stock. I did not see it at any of the big name places I looked. Kinda odd. maybe they are having more than just issues with this stock. As in supply chain and manufacturing issues.

If it goes on, I would just press them to buy the gun back from you at purchase price. Not the best outcome, but gets you out from under this with no monetary loss.

Just got off of the phone with Tammy, from Rossi Customer Service. She did not offer any hope that I'd be getting my buttstock anytime soon. I asked her about them sending me a "Tactical" stock, as they're unable to come up with a wood stock. She claims that others have tried it and either damaged the stock or the receiver, due to it not fitting properly. Has anyone on here been through this process successfully? If so, is the tactical stock the same length as the wood stock and did you have to do any fitting to make it work?

Did you get past Tammy to a supervisor?

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Officials said two juveniles are responsible for the devastating Sevier County wildfires.

At a 3 p.m. news conference Wednesday, authorities told media outlets that two juveniles have been charged with aggravated arson for their roles in allegedly starting wildfires.

The two minors were taken into custody Wednesday morning after a petition was filed in juvenile court charging them with aggravated arson. They are currently being held at the Sevier County Juvenile Detention Center.

The District Attorney said the juveniles are not from Sevier County, but are residents of Tennessee.

Officials say, "everything is on the table," and said the two juveniles could be facing more charges or could be tried as adults.

Saw this pop up on the news too. Those kids are going under the jail.

We're out here. But most of us are either stupid or careful. Trust but verify has always been my mantra.

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't out to get me....lol

I totally know what you mean. I was not asking for a list of addresses or a meet this week.  Being careful anymore can be a requirement of staying alive with all the crazy stuff going on.

We have chatted in another thread but will jump in for the count. I'm South of Jonesborough. Maybe we have enough to have a gathering sometime for breakfast or lunch and put faces to names.

Yeah, nice to see you again. I have chatted with a couple people, but I saw the Knoxville thread and thought I might just see if I could meet some more.

The one thing I see really different is the inability of the extendable/collapsible stock to do either. Tightest dang stock I've ever seen. Even removing the pin and doing some greasing up, it still doesn't want to move.

It is amazing how much slop in specs some places let their parts go out with.

I knew there was a reason to have so many firearms.

Actually there is no reason NOT to.

I don't think those calibers are this or that comparable. I'd go as far as to say you "need" both, at least that's what I told the wife.  I'd keep the .308 and save up for a 5.56 AR....and a .300Blackout upper to go with it.

As long as you hide them from the wife.... lol

I get the fact that as far as we know Eugene has no prior knowledge of reloading metallic cartridges. Eugene walks into a machine shop with minimal materials and produces one loaded round is a little far fetched but plausible.  I also get the fact this is a fictional show about zombies so you have to let your imagination go with the story a little.  The one real issue that's bothering me is that just surviving is getting tough with out having to deal with the fighting going on to be at the top of the food chain among survivors.  I sense that anyone near Negan or any of the outsiders have nothing but disdain for the guy.  I don't know what kind of kool-aid recipe he has but surely someone has got to show a sign of wanting to take him out.  I understand the show needs an antagonist to Ricks character but come on people.

Like one guy said on the show, he is one guy with a baseball bat. Why no one took him out before he got his chain of command in place I will never know. As much as he pisses on everyone, surely someone will get angry enough to shoot him in the back. Unless that jacket has a Kevlar lining that is all it would take.

Bingo, see they could have written a 2 min plot line and showed them finding some matches a such and really made it believable.  Oh well, you know, zombies and all

Crap, I would have just been glad if they showed them finding an hand full of primers and a shotgun shell they could pull powder from.

All those house they've been through in all those towns, not one reloading press or bullet mold?

At the very least, a shotgun re-loader. As long as you had primers and powder, you could cram gravel in as shot if you had to. Or do a Billy the Kid and load it with dimes. Use cardboard wads and at least you have ammo for one class of guns. Just keep picking up your empties and reloading them. Not the best zombie killing setup, but zombies are the least of their worries right now.

The "Make me a bullet" scene made me cringe. There is way more to making a bullet than just the shell and projectile. Where did they get the powder, or the primer. Did they get the correct amount of powder? Did they test fire one? And they spent all day there, and she got ONE bullet? If you get set up, make a bunch.

I would have thought their time would have been better spent scrounging for ammo and guns. Surely there has to be some houses left with a pickup truck and fishing boat in the driveway that have not been cleared.

I agree, and how did he mold the bullet? He could have molded 100 while he was at it.

Remember how much brass was on that bridge with Heath? They need to be gathering that stuff. I bet boxes of primers never got touched when people cleared houses. When they were in GA, there had to be reloading equipment around. They should have been reloading at the prison already.

Powder is the big issue. With experimenting they can make black powder. It will just have to be tested for proper loads.

The show kills me sometimes. I love it, but Rick and the gang have no real long-term survival sense.

Holy crap. I just saw a Henry Rifle commercial on TV.

Oops, sorry. About those Christmas specials. Sometimes it's wise to just let them be on TV and not comment on them. And keep a laptop handy. Any woman that would puts up with some of us guys probably deserves to watch whatever she wants without any comment.

Speaking of our women, gun ads, and Christmas...
