  1. I have a question I shoot my Glock quite a bit and have never considered spare parts... isn’t the point of it to not need spares? What do you have and has anyone found anything that’s actually a good idea to have
  2. The mos gen 5 just released with no cut out on the mag well and front serrations dunno if you have any interest in running a optic(which I would highly recommend) but you don’t have to just leave the plate on it... I think your spare small parts will fit a 4 not a 5 but I have no clue about the barrel or where to find that info maybe call Wilson combat and ask them... if they say no ask what’s different and maybe that can help you determine where if it needs filed or if it’s even possible... myself Id put a RMR on it and call it good
  3. Just looked it up and Sorry it’s shooters cut AR550 and weighs in at 11 ####ing lbs a plate! have them in a quick release London bridge trading 6094 carrier and they barely fit
  4. I recently bought a set of spartan armor AR650 triple curve with the thick spall coating... I’m 6’4” a well built 250 lbs and so ended up with the11x14... let me tell you the weight on paper doesn’t seem like much but that #### is heavy as a mother... wish I would’ve gotten something else and spent the cash... awesome quality and I’m sure it would stop bullets but gd it’s too much with all my other ####... soon will be relegated to back up or spare
  5. Red dots on pistols are the future... in 10 years it’ll be like the old timers today arguing about not needing anything but irons on rifles... or how gay marriage will ruin the world lol
  6. I carry a gen 4 mos with 3.25 Rmr adjustable and love it... took some practice to get used to but won’t ever go back... thinking about getting a second... probably wait for a gen 5 mos and rmr type 2
  7. Always hesitated until I was in the same predicament so I gave up and gave it a try.... decided I don’t need anything that bad and I won’t go thru that headache ever again
  8. I have an Aimpoint PRO and can hit at 300 on steel but not 100% but it is mostly about seeing the target which is really difficult unless conditions are perfect like high contrast between target and surroundings like freshly painted white plates.... 200 is more realistic and quite easy... ACOG at 4 power is like cheating at longer ranges like 300... just picked up a 1x4 but haven’t shot it yet but seems like a best of both worlds especially if you go illuminated
  9. Glock 19, S&W9 compact or any other gun in that size of quality manufacturer... smaller guns are awesome but if you can only have one thats what id go with
  10. Sold my sheild about 6 months ago... figured i would replace it at some point with something similar... this might be it... but wont know for sure until they hit shelves and start hearing some feedback that isnt just a commercial

I agree they have pushed cool concepts just fall way short on execution... hypothetically even if they always worked (which i dont feel comfortable trusting my life to) they are not a nice product... feels like a cheap harbor freight tool... may work but feels like ####...
