@Johnny Rotten, I honestly had no awareness of the fact that Fireball was a Canadian whisky. I learned something new today.

Hey David, I'm going to go into the past here. Remember the first(?) TGO shirts?
Had the TGO/TN tri-star logo on the Chest. Had the "What part of shall not be infringed" on the back.
Is there a chance we might see something similar again? Especially the chest logo.
I wear this quite a lot and get the " where can I get one" question fairly often.
Would it be a big seller now? I don't know, but I'd certainly like a couple more.
I've got holes in mine from an old pair of suspenders. LoL.
Just wondering.
Just saw this. Sorry.
I will check on that. It should be easy enough to re-submit the design and open another ordering session.

I think I've had a few Canadian whiskys over the years but couldn't tell you what they were or if I liked them. My collection of American, Irish, Scotch, and Japanese whiskeys and bourbons borders upon "stupendous" so... I want to branch out a little.
Recommend a good Canadian whisky, if you will.

David, What kind of red dot are you using on theM&P ?
On the one at the first part of this thread I am using a Holosun 509T.
On my most recent build (linked below) I am using a Holosun EPS MRS.

Wow, this just happened to me! I purchased a S&W M&P 2.0 model and had the exact problem with the plate screw stripping. One screw came out easily but the other stripped badly. I sent it back to S&W for repair and had no idea it will take 6-8 weeks to remove a screw until I read your post. I'm a huge fan of S&W products but this repair situation is ridiculous. Most manufacturers provide the assembly tools and their slide plate screws aren't on nearly as tight. Purchasing a new firearm and having to wait months to access it sucks.
They got mine back to me much more quickly than they estimated. I think I posted an update in this thread afterward, but if memory serves me correctly it was 3 or 4 weeks. Still not a great buying experience.
Edit: It took them 4-weeks to send it back after they received it. Five weeks total, including transit times.

Sweet. Just need an Apex trigger or my favorite Agency Arms trigger in that thing.
I've got a few with Apex triggers in them and actually prefer the stock 2.0 trigger in this one, albeit with the Apex plunger safety installed.
I would like to get my hands on an Agency M&P trigger someday to try one out,

As the title says, I just received another slide back from DP Custom Works. I took an M&P 2.0 Compact, non optics slide and sent it off to Doug so that he could work his magic on it. I don't have many handguns left that aren't running a dot optic, and this takes care of one more of them.
This time I went with his M&P EDC slide milling package and added top cocking serrations and an optic cut for the Holosun 407K / EPS footprint and had him re-finish the whole thing in fresh new Melonite.
This is the fourth slide that I have had Doug work on and the quality of the work is impeccable, as always.
The gun is wearing a Holosun EPS MRS, which is the fuller sized EPS variant with dual fuel (battery and solar) and automatic adjustment for ambient light. Iron sights are a set of Ameriglo that I already had on the gun; Doug reinstalled them after re-finishing the slide.

I am definitely interested in this route. All those that have the education to do this are either too liberal to want to help or too expensive to hire. Did you buy the actual Willmaker software? Quick google search shows I can get it for around $250 but hate to spend that money if I cant figure out what to do next. I have never heard of RTF, does that mean I'm already in over my head? Is there a premade form that I just retitle and add serialed items and beneficiaries? I have a really good notary that works with wills so that should be the easy part. I would appreciate more info and instructions to get this done. I've been wanting to get a trust before buying my first can. Thank you for your time
Since then I had an attorney draft a Living Trust for me and my family. I would go that route instead.

Give Mill Creek Overland a call in Nolensville, Albert and team over there will get you straightened out.
Completely agree with this too!!! I am embarrassed that I didn't think about Albert's shop. He is a great dude and a gun guy to boot!

The number one cause is the track bar BUT it could be anything including the tires.
It can be a combination of things, too. I've seen Jeep owners throw their credit card at the problem and, lacking a methodical approach, end up with death wobble and a sore wallet.
This is the kind of thing that it's worth paying a reputable shop to diagnose.

I've used Elevated Off-Road in Murfreesboro and would recommend them.

They work on a ton of Jeeps and have done suspension work for me on my RAM Power Wagon. I have nothing but praise for the quality of their work and the prices were more than fair.

I'm surprised no one brought up 2011s like Staccato, Springfield Prodigy, Tisas B9R DS, Stealth Arms Platypus, Girsan Witness2311, etc, etc.
Those aren't really in the same camp as the things the OP said he was interested in.

Thanks for pointing that out. A bit odd that they did not change any of the markings on the outside of the optic. Post has been updated.
It really shouldn't deter anyone from buying it. The Type-1 is rugged and very reliable. I have one, myself, and it's taken a beating over the last 9-years and has shrugged it all off.
-
@LibertyChief, I am pretty sure that your optic is a Type-1 RMR and not a Type-2.
The type 2 has a different battery contact design. This page has more info:
https://www.bigtexordnance.com/differences-between-trijicon-rmrs/
Still, an excellent optic.

I had one of these, albeit in the MRD (optic cut) variety. REALLY good gun. If you consider all of the upgrades that Glock owners typically spend extra to get or wish they had, the 509M pretty much has it all out of the box.
Good luck with your sale.

I've got a bottle of Traveler and am probably 3/4 way through it. Good stuff. Never really considered it to be a Canadian blend but apparently it is because of the inclusion of other spirits.
