  1. This can be added to our list of things that need to change with Law Enforcement. I can’t comment on “Open Fields” as I have never heard of it or researched it. But I do know, where I was, Conservation Officers had far more leeway in entering private property without a warrant than we had as Police Officers. They also had different laws on the transportation of firearms under conservation laws. Most Conservation Officers deal with suspects where weapons are involved daily. I would think most would simply knock on the door and asked where the cameras are. I don’t understand the need for surrounding the house with SWAT team tactics. I can only guess. I also don’t understand searching the house without a warrant. Exigent circumstances wouldn’t cover what they did; they obviously planned this for a while. When you are caught dirty; you are caught dirty. Both TRWA and the state AG is covering this up. Of course they don’t want to make statements; they are going to be sued. But that’s not how a legit Law Enforcement agency operates. That’s what we see going on now with Police Departments. Rioting and burning businesses has caused them to be much quicker to release info, make statements and even arrest Officers. I guess since they know hunters won’t do that; so they don’t need to be honest and forthright. Whoever at TWRA started or approved this needs to step up and take responsibility. That’s what honest leaders do when mistakes have been made.
  2. In all fairness to them, could it be that he is only grabbing the limelight because they did their job? I have no idea, I just kinda doubt he came up with this on his own.
  3. And Trump has decided to let them continue here for over a month while Microsoft decides if they want to buy them. They aren't for sale by the way. Another case of him getting involved in something he knows nothing about, and he needs to be letting other agencies handle it. I mean after all, what could happen in a month……
  4. Failure to feed, failure to eject. Same problems the .380 EZ has been plagued with.

    Masks??????

Yes! Email that idea to Joe and maybe he will go with it on the next transmission from the basement.
  6. I believe the only way you can get a SHIELD in .380 is the “EZ”. They been having a bunch for problems with them. I assumed it was the .380 round, but they seem to be having the same issues with the “EZ 9”. Of course you can get a regular 9 in the SHIELD… or a .40.
  7. I would think with the manufacturers having to deal with the virus, it would be hard for suppliers to know shipping dates. It seems that way on everything else. Cancelling my Nutrisystem today, can’t get what I want.

Am I reading this wrong? Or is she just ignorant about how things work? She works for “Jefferson St United Merchants Partnership” That doesn’t sound to me like an organization that has anything to say about what people are charged with. Its amazing that some of these people can be on city and county councils.
  9. Yes, but then there is this from Oct 2019....
  10. That may be. It would require a DA that will charge criminals. As we have seen; many jurisdictions do not have that right now. When people want the laws enforced, they will need to elect DA’s, Judges, Sheriff’s and city officials that will do that.
  11. I was thinking exactly the same thing, as there were those that seemed okay with what he did. Was he a nutcase? Of course he was. Did no one listen to the tapes he made? He said he was driven by God. He then committed the ultimate sin. And during his rampage he tried to kill innocent people, even children at a library. Was he justified in being mad? Of course! was he justified in the violent action he took? Of course not. Maybe I’m reading your responses wrong, if I am please forgive me, but you seem to be saying that the violence today is okay because it will force people to listen and force change. I don’t believe either of those things will happen. The divide will get worse, and only the weak will take a knee to the violence. The leaders of these liberal cities that stand by and allow this are the weak. At some point the strong will have had enough and will take these cities back and put these criminals in prison where they belong.
  12. That didn't take much paint.
  13. I think I remember her starting this a couple of years ago. I doubt they will get a court to dissolve the NRA; but they might. I doubt that would withstand scrutiny by the higher courts; but who knows. If they have spent this much time on the investigation, they need to indict the players in both the NRA and the agencies working for them that have violated the law.
  14. I agree; “white privilege” is preposterous in 2020. But of course it’s something that can’t be proven; so it will be argued from now to eternity. People are going to believe what they want. Money privilege absolutely exists. Money not only gives you power, but it allows you to hire the best when you need them. Poor people, regardless of race don’t have that power.
  15. It won’t affect them at all. (other than possibly needing parts) It could affect future pricing if they lose. However…it’s China. If the lose they will probably just be banned from import into this country.
  16. I remember when that happened, so I know how it ends. But I’ll have to watch it.
  17. Here is an explanation of what can happen. The “The longer it is left, the more likely it will get contaminated with items such as fuel oil” statement doesn’t make sense to me, but who knows. https://www.bbc.com/news/explainers-53664064
  18. Good grief! That's a lot of devastation.
  19. None. I usually keep an extra mag in the car. If I let myself get into something one mag won’t get me out of; I’m hosed…. hasta la vista
  20. Another case of a gun discharging, due to mechanical failure, without someone pulling the trigger. Also another case of where no one would be injured if common sense safety precautions were followed. Good thing they are addressing it.
  21. I find it has little to do with where you were raised and everything to do with how you were raised. I’ve had left wing liberals from Tennessee give me grief about where I’m from….I just smile.
  22. I have a small carabiner that I put stuff on I may need to release quickly. (This light and a tiny USB drive.)
  23. I’d rather have it that way. I don’t want to pay shipping back and my transferring FFL shouldn’t need to deal with the drama of something I didn’t buy from him. If it needs to go back they can send me a shipping label and refund my transfer fee. But that’s just me.
  24. I never carried a knife as a young man. But as I got older, either I got weaker or packaging became much tougher. Some of these packages is like trying to rip a phone book in half. For years I carried the GERBER F.A.S.T. assisted opening below. I’ve never been disappointed by a Gerber product and the assisted openers may be something you might want to check out. They aren’t very expensive; but the quality is there. A couple of years ago I decided to go to an auto knife, because they finally had something that meet my requirements. I didn’t want a safety. Using a safety on an auto knife didn’t make sense to me; an assisted would be faster than messing with a safety. (But that just me). But I wanted to be able to put it in my pocket without worrying about it opening. For that I chose the Pro-Tech Magic BR-1 "Whiskers" shown below. I slide it in my pocket and clip over the edge of the pocket. I don’t think this knife would ever open accidentally (it never has being carried daily). It takes a very deliberate action to open it. Most people that aren’t familiar with it can’t open it when they are trying, until they are shown how it works. I think it’s a very cool idea on a release. When I ravel I can’t carry an auto-knife. For that I have my little Gerber Paraframe mini. I know you said you have trouble opening manuals, but you might want to check this out, it opens pretty easy. They have an MSRP of $14.00, but I picked mine up at Rural King for $9.99; they sell them most everywhere. I was surprised at how sharp it was and the quality for the price. I figured when it got dull or wore out I would just replace it, but it been a few years and still going strong. GERBER FAST assisted opening: Pro-Tech Magic "Whiskers" BR-1.7 Gerber Mini Paraframe
