(WKRN) – The man in the middle of the Megan Barry scandal pleaded guilty in Davidson County Court Tuesday morning. In a negotiated plea agreement, Robert Forrest pleaded to theft of property over $10,000. Official court documents also say Forrest will be permitted to carry a firearm, given that he is a retired police officer.

  13. http://www.wsmv.com/story/36042141/multiple-shootings-in-nashville-this-week-prompt-safety-concerns NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - A violent night in Nashville has left one person dead, others injured and several gunmen on the loose.
  14. When the point is reached that the only condition for deadly force is the objectively reasonable fear of the officer, then there will be few if any limits on when a cop can kill. Once that rubicon is crossed it will be bad for everyone. Look at it this way, for a cop it is easy to manufacture an explanation for fear, particularly when there is the random ambush of officers happening out there. But contrary to the deeply held belief by us all about threats to cops, there is risk out there. When someone chooses to be a police officer, he assumes that risk. That’s his choice. The rest of the public isn't given that option.
  15. A co worker of mine snapped one up yesterday! The trigger on it is amazing, best on a off the shelf revolver I've ever felt. Accurate and the weight handles recoil well. It's about twice as heavy as my 360PD. Grips look huge in pics but in real life they aren't as bad as they seem.
  16. Is this something new rolled into the HCP course. Honestly I took mine so long ago I don't remember them discussing this.
  17. http://www.wthr.com/article/states-begin-teaching-armed-drivers-how-to-interact-with-police PHOENIX (AP) — Gun-friendly Arizona is trying to avoid deadly encounters between police and people behind the wheel by teaching armed drivers how they should handle themselves when they are pulled over. Lawmakers in Tennessee, Virginia and Illinois have enacted laws over the last year that require driver education courses to teach people how to react when they are pulled over. Unlike the guidelines published in Arizona, none of the laws explicitly mentions what to do when armed motorists are stopped.
  18. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-07-21/us-urges-all-nationals-north-korea-depart-immediately-bans-tourists-visiting Additionally, Rowan Beard of Young Pioneer Tours, told the BBC the embassy was urging all US nationals to depart immediately. He said the embassy was trying to check on the number of US tourists left in the country. For now there has been no official confirmation from the US: the state department continues to have an alert dated 9 May strongly warning US citizens not to travel to North Korea. As the BBC adds, there has been movement towards a ban for a while in the US, which increased with the Warmbier death.

  22. Honestly 95% of people are not smart enough to think about such contingencies. Businesses don't care about anything but the money. Prime example was the bankers who were throwing million dollar parties the week the economy imploded.
  23. You make wonderful points, but as a coworker of mine pointed out recently while we were discussing this incident. He rightful said you can't win the roadside fight but the public increasingly can't win in court either. Criminal jury conviction rates these days are near above 90% in all cases. Bench trial conviction rates are even higher.
  24. I with JAB, when off duty, most of the time I'm carrying my 360PD in my pocket.
