The Vudoo action is supposed to be the hot ticket right now. Then you need a barrel and stock . Then glass. I don’t know if 2K will do it. I’d be more inclined to buy a Kidd rifle and put $500 worth of glass on it. ETA: Champions Choice are the local source for such things. They are Anschutz dealers I think.

I’m considering one. But, they seem to be scarce in the Nashville area. Are you happy with yours?

Never been a problem for me, but then again, I tighten the barrel nut down after reassembling.
The issue is a receiver mounted optic and the barrel not consistently aligning when removed and reinstalled. I haven’t got an optic on mine so it’s not an issue as both sights are on the barrel.

No reason it shouldn’t return to zero after reassembling.
Not reliably returning to zero is a known issue.

10-22 hands down. I have several including a takedown (which is kind of pointless in my opinion).

Talk to Tip Curtis in Cross Plains TN.

Very nice. I’m not interested in BP but just met Tip Curtis the other day as he lives near me (Cross Plains TN). He’s very well known in muzzle loading circles.

If a 22 is all she can carry, let her go for it.
I agree. That may be my strategy to pick up a Ruger LCP .22. “ I love you so much I just bought you this cute little pistol”.

Hipower when you get a chance post a pic if possible. Me ,google ,and S&W have never heard of a model 416
I couldn’t find it either.

What’s amazing is how much even bolt actions are influenced by the AR15.

My wife has a similar situation. But more Carpal issues than anything else. Her pistol is a Smith 416 with a CT grip. I've tried to change her to a 351PD and change the CT grip, but she says even the 22lr vs the 22 Mag is too much. So it's a 416 for her.
I haven't gotten her to go with me in quite a while, but next time I want to try her with the Glock killer...the Taurus TX22. lol
What is a 416?

How about the new Ruger LCP .22?

The only reason I’ve pieced ARs together is because I’m a poor. Otherwise I would buy something like a Barrett.

The forward mounted scope idea is silly IME. Try somebody else’s before you drop the coin like I did.

For a long time I thought I wanted a 9mm AR - until I shot one. I found out the recoil was as sharp as I’d heard. Not like a 30-06 or 12 gauge - just sharp and not fun. No thanks.

That thing is awful. No offense to anybody. I wouldn’t have it in my house.

Nose to charging handle when you use the iron sights. I sight in for a 6 o’clock hold at 100 yds where point of impact is centered on the bullseye. That’s using the small aperture. Red dots are great but you see a starburst if you have astigmatism.

I’d buy one at $238. Over $300 no. Best to wait awhile.

Anybody know when these will hit stores?

Don’t they make different kinds?
Sorry I meant BDM mags. I’ve only tried the all plastic mags and wondered about the higher priced steel lipped ones.

2 drawbacks to conversions are possible leading of your gas port and poor accuracy due to not having a 1-16 twist barrel. That said, the CMMG kit at RTB is really good.
-
Good . Hopefully quality will improve.

That is a really ugly gun. Apologies to anybody who owns one
Cost to install a bead on a shotgun?
