  2. I would like the .22 ammo. Live about 45 miles north of Knoxville. 423-489-9310 text.
  3. Great story! I have my grandmother's S&W model 10 that will be my 5 yr old son's someday. Teach them well.
  4. Help please! Can any one fix a 79 in a 55 highway patrol speeding ticket? Just kidding! Sucker got me at 5 am this morning. This is gonna hurt.
  5. Has any one here tried these? Pros and cons welcome. Also, were there any vendors for these at the Expo? Thanks.
  6. Mike's in New Tazewell is the best hands down. Buy, trade and layaways. Mike and the girls are the best. Mike is also the AR guy. Has his own line of lowers and builds custom uppers. Check them out, it's worth the drive. As far as CCA, Mr P and his staff could take some cs lessons from Mike and the ladies.
  7. Sounds more like the livestock sell at London on Tuesdays.Stock sell, flea market and gun trading. Haven't heard anything of a sell in Harlan. If you hear any more, post up.
  8. Got a XD40sc lnib, would like to trade for a flat top upper. I'll be there about 10:00.
  9. Welcome to TGO! I lived and worked all around Dayton from about 78 to 94 then came back to TN. Actually lived about a mile from MVSG on Rip Rap across from McNasty's. Worked in about every tool and die shop in the area. You'll like it here.
  10. I own several ars and two M1As, a loaded model and a Socom 16. The Socom has to be the most fun rifle I have ever shot. The compact size and high end horse power rocks!
  11. I'll be there Sunday around 10:00 with a Springfield XD40sc. All the factory accessories, 1-9 rd and 2-12 rd mags, a very nice Blackhawk leather concealment holster. Very nice condition less than 100 rds. $475 obo. Any interests pm me. Need cash looking to build a ar pistol. See ya there.
  12. I had my wife and 4 year old son with me Saturday and couidn't even look at anything for watching after them. Had to carry my son the whole time. Before some one says it is no place for a 4 yr old, I believe it's never to early to introduce them to the shooting sports. We do everything as a family. My wife is my shooting partner also. As far as a show comparision, I enjoy the Expo much better. I think for my gun purchases in the future I'll stick to fine sellers on this forum and my local gun shop, Mike's Gun Shop in New Tazewell. Cheap plug for a good shop.
  13. Never have I seen so many rude people crammed into such a small place. Need a larger facility for sure.
  14. Mike's gun shop in New Tazewell. He's the AR guy.
  15. God bless our Armed Forces that have made this possible!
  16. My first was a Colt Gov. model. Then a Gold cup, then a Kimber CDP, then a Springy Micro compact, then a Kimber TRL, and then a Springy Black SS Combat. This is how it starts. I bought the Colt 70 series about 25 yrs ago. Wouldn't let any one of them go. I carry the Micro except when roughing it then I pack a XD40 sc. $400 scratches don't hurt nearly as bad as the $800 ones.
