Killing the girl was a big downer, I was hoping some british black ops would helicopter over the compound and let loose some serious gunfire and explosions in which no could have survived except the badguy and Bond running away with the girl. Oh well.

 

They did.  90 seconds after she was killed and Bond had just broken bad-A with the bad guys.  Like they couldn't have shown up 90 seconds earlier.  Bond doesn't seem to hang on to women that long anyhow.
