Am bot a moderator, but I think this belongs in the for sale or trade forum. Not sure if it fits in Firearm or non firearm though,
  2. Yup, advise you try one out first.
  3. I would be concerned about how the sights are regulated if accuracy is you "aim." Most guns now are a combat hold. That is not ideal for me as prefer "point of aim." AT least for plinking
  4. A friend of mine has one and likes it. It fairness, she rarely shoots it though.
  5. Let us know how it works out for you.
  6. Now that you mention it....there should be a USB charging port on the bottom of the pistol grip. Guess Kimber got cheap and left that off mine.
  7. That was quick. And sold to a great TNGUNOWNER!! Thanks! Have two 1000 round bricks of CCI/SPEER 115 gr brass cased jacketed round nose ammo. As shown in pictures, are new in unopened factory "bricks." Bought then in last year or so from Bud's. I just don't shoot much anymore and have many thousand of my own reloads to exhaust for practice first. $215 per 1000 round brick or $410 for both bricks (2000 rounds total ). Cash only, no trades please. Will not split up into individual boxes. Must be eligible to purchase ammo in TN. Only ftf in Sevierville/Knox?Maryville area. Send a PM and will respond with my phone info.
  8. https://allchingunparts.com/products/smith-wesson-for-delta-point-pro-holosun-k-and-romeo-3.html The third review said it fit the owners 617. Might want to ask the manufacturer to make sure. As to mounting a "optic" on a revolver......meh.....unless you are in competition,. Even then consider what holster would fit it first. jmo--am entitled to it!
  9. Ooooppppsss! Should have checked the original post date.
  10. The pic does not show up for me would like to see it
  11. Sold A Very Nice Sig 1911 4.25" with Sig night sights. This is model 1911CA-45-BSS. I am the original owner. Probably about 1k almost all soft reloads. -- It feeds well and trigger is nice, as most 1911s are. Comes as shown with 5 factory mags (8 shot), Tagua leather holster (looks like new), factory case manual AND a free 50 round box of Federal 230 GR JHP rounds to start you off. $675 ftf in or near Sevierville (Knox/Blount?Sevier counties). Must be legally qualified to own and purchase a firearm. text me and will send my phone info. No trades please...just thinning out the stable. I also have few boxes of Gold Dot and Hornady defensive hollow points if interested, would be slightly more. Also have a 100 round box of Winchester White Box 230 JRNs for 35 bucks WITH PURCHASE OF 1911
  12. Wow, I would expect to pay shipping back to mfr. Have never had a company charge me the return shipping though, NASTY!
  13. Great choice!!! I carry the K6XS 38 spl +P It was the perfect choice for me as a edc
  14. Guess you have looked on web? https://www.modguns.com/product-category/sig-sauer-p365-manual-safety-kit
  15. As much as a 1911 45 acp lover that I am, would go for the 9mm CZ. Short barrel 45's just don't get the velocity to expand properly. Yeah, the 45 is more energy, but would rather have the faster moving 9mm projectile which seems to expand more reliably. And heresy of heresies, I feel more comfortably carrying a pistol with the decocker as opposed to a "cocked and locked" 1911.
  16. What bothers me is that you say new ammo won’t fit in gauge. Has to be some debris or preservative in the gauge chamber.
  17. I would try reassembling to see if it functions. If it does try takedown again.

  19. If you live close to range whidh hosts IDPA matches, that is a great way to become proficient in carry.
  20. On something like a Buckmark which was designed for irons it takes a bit of practice to present the weapon properly On My Taurus TX220 tactical with Vortex mounted a mile over the bore is the same way. Guns like my Sig P320 or Hellcat seem to point much more naturally with a red dot on them. Think the main difference is height of dot above the bore compared of height of irons above the bore. Get the dot too far up and it just feel unnatural.
  21. Hey there, Have had a few red dots on handguns. 1) Some red dots have auto off or auto dim to save battery life. Love the auto off/on feature on the Holosun and Sig red dots I have. My Vortex is manual on/off but it is on a target 22. Did not like the auto dim red dot tried (cheap plastic Sig) as it won't adjust bright enough. 2) Battery life is not an issue on the ones tried. However, it would be nice if they had some sort of battery charge indicator...none do. More problematic is that the Sig in particular has a habit of the battery compartment cover coming unscrewed enough to lose contact...easy to fix. The side mounted battery on the Holosun has had ZERO problems making contact. 3) Holsters are the biggest problem. Almost worth deciding on a decent holster which will accept an optic mounted gun before deciding on which gun. DeSantis and Sig and Blackhawk are the ones currently owned. Would not consider getting a gun without iron sights tall enough to use with my optic of choice mounted. Some call this co-witness which is misleading. As long as you can see the iron sights through the mounted optic for backup, it will work Keeping the lens clean is my biggest problem with carrying a red dot edc wise. Also get a bit paranoid when carrying owb where lens can scratched. Have gone back to carrying a handgun with a very large front dot on it. For a range gun and shooting fun, noting beats an red dot optic Finally, don't buy cheap, buy good!
  22. If you can afford it, GO FOR IT Personally, I can't imagine being able to afford such an expensive carry gun. Darn, it took a few years to talk myself into a K6
  23. That sounds good! Have red dots on range guns, but no longer on edc weapons. A bit more than I want in size for edc. Hate having to clean the optic of smudges and dust. Now am into the bigger combo front sights, reflective with tritium insert. Mind you, those are on my dedicated personal defense arms (close range).
  24. Taurus had a reputation for parts, mim most likely, breaking and locking up the revolver. They seem to have improved their parts quality because I don't hear those stories much any more, on new handguns. Had a 856 recently and it shot just fine through quite a few hundred rounds. Felt confident carrying it. Only sold to get a lighter snubbie
