I've never ran Holosuns on rifles, but they're what I run on 4 of my pistols and they've held up pretty well, one has about roughly 4k rounds through it

Not a 1911 but I have a few guns from Turkey that have all had pretty solid quality but not perfect details/finish. But those were pretty simple to clean up and get to my liking
