  1. ok... I bit the bullet and had to get the SA 1911 mil spec. It just FELT like heaven in my hand... oh and the bulleyes..... So now, I'm trying to figure out if I should stick with my M&P9c for CCW or figure out how to carry the 1911... I was able to find a Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 right hand IWB... I haven't really tested it out much. Any other ideas? I'm very good with the 9c, but lethal with 1911....

    SR9c or M&P9c

I carry my M&P9c in a supertuck. It's comfortable and pretty damn accurate with practice. My trigger started out a little rough and had a few minor feed issues (was using reloads to begin with). After 500 rounds and using more factory loads than reloads, it's been smooth and reliable. I just bought an SA 1911 mil spec and love it.... but the M&P9c is going to continue to be my conceal carry.
  3. Hello Ladies, Been awhile since I posted... I'm carrying a M&P9c IWB using a Crossbreed SuperTuck. I spend a lot of time traveling between Memphis, Chattanooga and Knoxville. I've also been sticking it into a Nemesis pocket holster and tucked into a little over-shoulder sling bag. It's a little big for my pocket (I'm 5' 2") but it can be done if I'm wearing a hoodie. I bought my hubby a 642 for his pocket carry and he's using the Nemesis as well.
  4. Well, it seems that they don't have anyone there that early to make those additions to their site. We had to contact MediaSource to get a copy of the short piece that Kristin and I were in. We didn't get the entire segment series, just the couple of minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=We6EmLe1M5E
  5. That's a story on RangeMaster rather than Range USA. Earl (the reporter) was filling out his application for the range and is looking forward to getting his own permit. Terry (the other lady on the range with me) got her first shot off and her gun jammed. That was strange since I don't think I've ever seen Glock jam before...
  6. Hi SigGrl, I'm waiting for my CCW, but I've already purchased a Crossbreed SuperTuck IWB. I've been wearing it around the house and it's been pretty comfortable. I will be carrying a M&P9c. I'll have to size my pants up as my current setup is pretty snug. I've been wearing it at the 4:00 position with no problems. I've even played video games, lying on the bed on my back and no issues at all.

    Hi from the Memphis area!
  8. Count me in. I'll hit the range tomorrow (Ladies night at RUSA!!)
  9. Ok. Newb question: What's the scoring setup?
  10. I stopped by there this week on a drive back to Memphis from Chattanooga area. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. May have to go back to pick out my M&P15...
  11. Heartfelt thanks to LEOs and all others that serve the public. Hopefully the small amount of appreciation you do see will go a long way to helping you carry on. Thanks (LieutenantDan67's wife)
  12. I don't know about 'orange boxes' but I purchased a 250 ct box of reloads there this weekend. Ran it through my M&P9c (after 200 rounds of WWB the day before) and it was filthy and good scrubbing afterwards, but the rounds were fine. No misfires, no obviously damaged rounds. I think they changed who they were using.
  13. Newby here. Followed a link PaiMei left on the MP-pistols site. Thanks PeiMei. Look forward to connecting with other Tennesseans.
