Hmm... if they're programmable that means I can program say only two...one for me and one for the boss. That puts my mind at ease a bit. And I've never really had issue with any of Hornady's products. However, I definitely agree a mechanical backup is a must. I'm gonna need to do some more research. So, I'm in the market for a new handgun safe. Don't get me wrong, my trusty old Fort Knox pistol box is doing just fine. And I don't plan on replacing it. But rather I'm shopping for the wife. Now, I'm used to fumbling around in the dark on that Simplex lock, but I'd prefer that my wife didn't have to. I want something quick easy and preferably hands free for her. And as luck may have it...I found one that looks interesting. After cruising online, I found one of those top ten lists or whatever on pistol safes. On this list (link for reference), there's two particular options there's a bluetooth safe where you can open from your phone and one that just uses a simple chip in a bracelet--just touch it to safe and it opens. My question is has anyone here actually used a similar safe? Does the RFID bracelet chip actually work? Or is the Bluetooth safe less secure because of internet and stuff? I'm not too techie when it comes to this kind of stuff, so any insight would be much appreciated.

Grew up near Pensacola NAS and have seen the Blue Angels more times than I can count. For a while, they would do practice maneuvers over my grandma's land. But Fat Albert was always my favorite. And when it would do the fly-by overhead, lets just say I'm lucky still have my hearing. If I ever get the chance to see them perform again definitely bringing the Howard Leights

They were tearing up the place, and he'd ask us down to help exterminate. Seriously, some of the best eating ever. I wouldn't want to answer the legality based on I'm not nearly qualified to interpret that part of the law. However, I would like to know...How is shooting the Shockwave with a brace. When I was able to get my mitts on it, I had a blast with that Raptor grip without a brace. Mind you, I was just shooting mini-shells.

Honestly, I've always been one to tote around my phone--curse of this millennial generation--but I've never really thought of it as a tactical security device until as of late. And like OP mentioned, I've never really carried to go get the mail or take out the trash. But now, I'm finding myself making it part of my routine. I'm not churchgoer--although nothing against any of you who are, I just worship in my own way--so I don't have any real insight into security there. But if I did go, I'd take solace in knowing that some of my fellow brethren there were carrying. Also, having travelled to other countries, I've seen some things that have made me think lately. For instance, in some places around the world, there's armed security for everywhere including laundromats and McDonald's. They're hired out by third-party companies and mainly exist to help give jobs to those to need it. While a job boost would be nice, I think it would do wonders for people's peace of mind if we started doing the same. Not claiming to know all (if, any) of the answers, it's just a thought.

I've found my Columbia fishing shirts to be the most comfy shirts for me when concealed carrying. And honestly, the thought of OWB carry makes every fiber of my being cringe.

Honestly, both ends of the spectrum are full of complete wackadoos and lying cheats. The Democrats are too soft. Republicans barely stand for Republican or American ideals anymore. Just a trainwreck. Until we can start getting more 3rd party candidates support...we're going to stay screwed. Like him or not, Trump made a huge impact on this world. He showed the world just how divisive the United States actually is and openly encourages unhealthy hate and debate to further the political agenda of those whispering in his ear--because let's face it, the policies he's putting forth aren't his. The man just doesn't have it. He does make a good mouth though--and inexplicably scapegoat and fall guy when things go wrong. That's Trump's real strength.

Not a fan of revolvers as a CCW. I know I'm gonna get some hate on it, but honestly I prefer a 9mm semi-auto. And there's no way my wife needs to be handling a .40 or some J-frame. Too snappy.

Maybe, I keep grabbing lemons... But I've found every Bersa Thunder 380 I've picked up to be extremely unreliable. Honestly, if I was in the bidget range for a Bersa, I'd just save up the extra $75 and pick up an M&P Shield.
