  1. I only have the Silencerco Omega 36M, but so far I love it! The low back pressure cans are the latest and greatest so going forward I'd like to get one of those and definitely a dedicated .22 supressor. Purchasing through Silencer Shop made it fairly easy to do. I'm waiting for another BOGO from Silencerco. They had one 2 weeks after I bought mine. Just missed out!

southernasylum, let us know your thoughts on the Omega 36M after you get to play with it a little, I you could.

Will do. So far I’ve only taken it out once and love it. I shot 300blk, both subs and supersonic, 5.56 and 9mm. I know your not supposed to because of fouling but I shot a couple mags of .22 as well. That made me want a .22 suppressor now!
I did buy several muzzle devices and a piston mount while I was waiting for the approval. This makes shooting much more enjoyable and shooting a suppressed pistol is just plain fun!

I love mine as well as the Hybrid 46. Between the two cans, they fit just about anything centerfire as long as you pony up another $1k or so for accessories.

I’m considering the Hybrid 46 next but may choose a low back pressure can instead. I’m hoping they offer another bogo. Silencerco did the last bogo 3 weeks after I bought this one.

  4. I never got around to sharing my TGO build. This was my very first AR15 from the old group buy. I just swapped the cheap yet sturdy UTG quad rail for a CMT HDM rail. To be honest I didn't hate the UTG Pro rail, but I felt like the rifle deserved better. 😁

It's a TGO CMT upper and lower set, 16" barrel with a Silencerco ASR flash hider, Magpul MOE furniture, AIM surplus BCG, sporting a Vortex 1x6.

If you mean the piston that screws onto the barrel, you can swap out pistons. The gold pkg gives you your choice of 2. You don't need adapters on pistols, but they do sell brakes and stuff for rifles.

Mine was done via old school paper which was about 14 months.
Now it's e-forms and supposed to be faster. 6-9 months... We shall see.

From their site it looks as though the Banish Gold is not modular. Is that correct? I really like the idea of being able to run a shorter configuration sometimes. The Gold does seem like a decent deal.

  6. I’m researching suppressors for my very first. I’m considering the banish 30. I like that it’s modular and light weight. Has anyone here used one. I’m also interested in the Omega 36M. I want to start with a multipurpose .30 cal. Are there better options? Will I regret the direct thread if I go with the Banish? I will be building a 300 Blackout for it but I’ll pick up a threaded barrel for my Beretta 92 when I finally purchase a suppressor as well.
Thanks in advance for the insight.

  7. Definitely check out AIM surplus for magazines. They have the 7 and 8 round mags for $16.95. Most other placers are $20 and up and $30 for the 7 round. I picked up a first gen recently and ordered a couple extra mags right away. Its a great little shooter and super easy to conceal!

  8. I like it!

I don't see what's wrong with the mag pouches, looks fine to me.

I made it for a lefty. Those ears at the bottom are supposed to be at the top for the mounting holes and a single hole in the middle at the bottom for the tie down. I flipped over my pattern or leather when I cut it out so if I made it the direction I was heading the pouch would fact the rear. Oh well. I'm not worried enough to sew up another one. Lesson learned. I hate when I make a bad cut in leather. I'm such a cheapskate!
