  1. Uncle in Canada and a few buddies here that can more than afford the top shelf/locked in cabinet Canadian Whiskies buy and drink Canadian Club straight up.
  2. As above Greg is correct, yes and no. Tn did away with Registration about 1995 and it was only if you wanted to do it. NY and other places still use it. Once on it will always be on unless you move/die and must then be removed, can be costly. Once you buy a gun from a FFL dealer they must retain that record as long as they stay open and then it has to be sent to a U S Gov. warehouse forever. If gun is used in a crime Feds go to say Ruger and Ruger sends info as to FFL that sold it,then they go to FFL and to person who purchased it. If that person did not know the person it was sold to you may be a suspect. Once that gun is sold several times and not through a FFL then they may question fingerprint/Dna results if used in a major crime. Now if you buy a gun say walking around a gun show with a cash transaction somebody could have put three slugs in a person two nights ago and you fire at or shoot a home invader and PD runs all slugs you are in possession of a murder weapon or Grandpa finds his gun stolen after three years and files report you now have a stolen gun you owned a year or more, say a FFL goes to sell it it will come back to you. This is happening often now a days than it did a few years ago. I have bought a couple guns in past from FFL shops and while waiting local gets alert swoops in and picks it up. One FFL asked me if I wanted my $10 background check money back and I said yes and if he had a problem I could have the PD come right back and have a talk about it.

  4. One of many brand is Thug Case but there are others. On my hunting trips I want the guitar style case for when I have to do a hotel , not leaving in auto. Looking if anyone has on to part with. specs are 33.5 Long 11 High It can be for gun and scope or the models for it broke down in two. I have a full size guitar case but need compact for travel. If you have a homemade one it may be fine. Has to be hardshell type and I can cut foam and no fuzzy type lining. Checking here first. Specs can be a couple inches longer/wider but not shorter. Thanks for looking.

  8. I think Alleycat72 here has the most experience on this subject here,I get tips from him at times. For my first time I did( Hog Swat) near Plains GA about 4 hours from Nashville. I did this to get the hang of hog hunting. It was a great deal for first timer as you stalk at night with thermal. HS picks you up a dark and you go sight in first then head out in a van with two large screens and when you pull in a field any will show but only seen one this way about 300 yrds out. Guide will get out and walk out in field and scan right and left then stalk any or leave. The other van was said to have a drone that goes up looking for hogs. I got one should have had six or eight but my fault. It was early Feb with a full moon and 60 degrees with a light breeze and the worst conditions for a hog hunt but still got in 70 yards of them. The ajso provide AR.ammo thermal and tripod. Good deal as everything is provided and we were out 7 hours. I think maybe two mile stalking. They will cut meat off but most people leave them for the yotes as some say they are only good to eat when under 50 lbs? I do not know. You will get a lesson first on, open tripod, unsling gun,put in tripod all in dark, safety on when not shooting and use of a tourniquet .
  9. I had bought a box of 1911 holsters from WWI&II. I tried everything until someone pointed out Lexol ,spray bottle from Walmart. It may be in automotive. Spray holster and let sit for half a day then again if needed. works great on leather jackets and anything leather.
