  1. Wow, that judge sounds like a real clown. Deterrence is no longer self-defense... countries must just own nuclear weapons for fun right?
  2. Thanks Moped. I am not a fan of the way Ruger 22 semi-autos look and not interested in a revolver at the moment.
  3. Alright, so I guess that opens it up to .22LR pistols as well. Thanks for the suggestion. Anyone have one available they want to get rid of?
  4. I have some interest in moving further out of Nashville (right now I'm as far south as you can get... right on the border of Nolensville), and that comment I bolded struck me as something I've never considered about more rural living. Do you mean it's difficult to find a handyman, or a plumber, or someone to do some general contracting in and around the house? I grew up in the suburbs, have lived a fair number of years in larger metros than Nashville, and I have always taken it for granted that I can find multiple qualified professionals for anything I might need done and have a choice on who to work with. Is that not the case living out in Cookeville/Crossville area?
  5. Update: Some life stuff came up so I've decided to hold off on this gun purchase for now. I didn't grow up shooting but I've grown to love it Got my first AR15 last year, put together an AR AK in 762x39 since ammo prices were crazy, and picked up a 22LR conversion kit for my AR. Now I'm looking for an inexpensive dedicated 22LR bolt or lever gun to add to the collection (and hopefully entice my wife to joining me on a range trip with an easy shooter). I'm pretty open on make/model... been eyeing a few like the Ruger American, Ruger Precision Rifle in 22, Henry Golden Boy (or the regular ol H001), etc. etc. Hoping to find something to have fun with that won't break the bank. If you've got something that's been sitting in your safe for too long and you want to free up space for your next fun gun, let me know. Interested in package deals with a scope but also open to guns without an optic. Located in Nashville, have my Enhanced Carry Permit and willing to sign a bill of sale.
  6. Hello, have 5K CCI small pistol primers magnum and 5K CCI small rifle primers magnum that I'd like to trade for SPP, SRP, or LPP non magnums. Located in south Nashville by the edge of Brentwood and can meet in the area. Thanks
  7. sold the glock OEMs. 3x ETS clear/transparent 15rd mags left.
  8. magpuls are gone. ETS and glock OEM still avaialable. Happy to ship it as well if you want. Shipping is $8.80 flat rate
  9. Hey all, as part of a SHTF who knows what the heck could happen scenario I figured I'd add a gas mask to my prep gear. Have looked at some stuff on Amazon and in casual conversations with some gas mask afficionados been told that it's far superior to go mil-surp. Wanted to get people's thoughts on the topic if you've researched and own a gas mask. Ideally would like to find something that will fit my glasses underneath, that could take a filter that's commonly found, and can filter out tear gas and/or more poisonous gases. Thanks
  10. Hey David, do you have a recommendation on adding a red dot to my Glock 19 gen5 non MOS? Very new to it but thinking I'd like to transition from irons to red dot and interested in whatever is "best" for getting eye and sight alignment, whether that's buying a new slide or getting my current one milled. Thanks!
  11. Update Double checked what I have on hand that I want to get rid of: 4x magpul GL9 15 rounders (black) - $9 per (sold) 3x ETS 15 rounders (clear) - $9 per 5x glock oem 15 rounds (tan) - $20 per (sold) These were loaded and used once, maybe twice at the range, so very minimal wear like new. I think 4 of the Glock OEM ones might be completely unused, just loaded and then emptied by hand...
  12. hi Toby interested in the 2 boxes of federal and 1 of cci 550

If you've got one you're looking to get rid of or trying to upgrade, let me know what you have! Located in Nashville but open to buying from someone shipping if you've got a good trader reputation

  16. Got a message from AlbertZip when I posted I was looking for something. It said: "Hi if your still looking, I can help out with a lead, you can reach out to steven in Texas he has the _______ for sale this is his email address stevenmaws@gmail.com good luck" If you google that email stevenmaws@gmail.com you'll see it has been involved in lots of scams over the last month. Be wary! They may change the email or message, but be super wary of 0 reputation people selling stuff out of state!
  17. They'd get a discount at that business because you pay full price? What's that have to do with skin color though?
  18. https://congresslookup.com/ Simple tool to look up the info to contact your Rep and our senators. Here's a copy/paste (please edit it so they see different messages) that you can use as a base if you'd like: Hello Senator, I am writing to you today to inform you that I stand with the Firearms Policy Coalition and hundreds of millions of gun owners across the country in firm opposition to President Biden’s statement on February 14th calling for an egregious violation of our constitutional rights and civil liberties in the arbitrary banning of firearms and firearm accessories. It is a disgusting violation of the U.S. Constitution and an infringement on my and millions of other’s fundamental right to keep and bear arms. It puts bureaucratic officials in charge of whether we can exercise our inalienable rights and I strongly encourage you to oppose any such measures. I am also incredibly offended and alarmed by the language in HR 127 Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing Act and believe that to be another incredible overreach of government that will directly put at harm hundreds of millions of law-abiding citizens across the country and violate the protections offered by the U.S. Constitution. I would like to know if you have heard of this act and what your thoughts are, as well as let you know that I expect you as my Congressional representative to actively stand out against this act in order to earn my vote, or else I will be looking for another candidate to support in the next Primary. Sincerely,
