  1. I love my RIA 9mm. Been wanting a 10. Might be brave enough to try a double stack version. I hear the doubles can be a bit finicky.

    A Small Jackpot

I love all these versions of mine. So fun
  3. My wife loves my sr22, in fact she claims it as hers.lol
  4. Another vote for the lcr 38. My wife doesn’t actually have that one but she does have the lcr in 327 Federal magnum. 6 rounds vs 5 and she can try 5 different calibers . 32 acp on up. She also has an assortment of revolvers mostly 38 S&W which she likes.
  5. I had meniscus surgery done about 15 years ago and now that knee is starting to bother me some. I knew that it meant I may need knee replacement at some point. I think I will wait as many more years as I can until the pain is unbearable. That way I’m already used to the pain, lol.
  6. Tried my hand at filling. Used some gold non permanent paint. Really brings it out.

    Birthday Gift

    Happy Birthday!
  8. Took my “compact “ to the range this weekend. My two friends and I really enjoyed it.
  9. Heavy barrel and the optics mount is made directly to the barrel. It may look odd but it would be hard to find a better target 22 at any price.
  10. Love all three versions of mine. So much fun.
  11. That is a concern especially if it’s marketed in a familiar CMP hard case.
  12. JHP Hornady Critical Defense
  13. I like mine. I have the Crimson trace model. Very reliable and easy to carry. I have a little in pocket velvet type holster.
  14. Just wondering, did Norinco ever make a bad gun?
  15. I like Fluid Film. Especially on old military bolt actions. Even does great on wood.
  16. There are a couple on eBay now. $60-$70 seems kind high. Will watch for a cheaper one. No rush, it functions without it.
  17. It’s smaller than my Bodyguard yet 3oz. heavier.
  18. It is . The front sight is pulled back to remove the flat coiled spring and rod. There is another spring in the tube that acts as a buffer. Supposed to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise.
  19. A friend of mine offered a Bayard “1908” pistol to me at a nice price and I jumped on it. This one is in the less common 380 caliber. It was rusty and missing the safety toggle. I disassembled as far as I felt safe doing. There is not a good exploded view of how it is put together. At least none that I can find. Cleaned up the rust and got it cycling smoothly. For more on these interesting early autos see here.https://unblinkingeye.com/Guns/Bayard/bayard.html Will replace the safety at some point.
  20. Yeah I saw that. Looks like they all have the same skeleton hammer. Full auto 1911
