@BHunted You took a wallop! Your house nearly burned down?! Your cars electrics are fried? Your laptop is fried & it was plugged into a UPS? Jesus. You took a direct hit from a mini-nuke. And there is so much more to fix on top of those things. I sympathize. That's crazy. A simple power outage would be a welcome problem over what you are facing. I hope insurance comes through & you are not on the hook for the full cost of repairs. But deductibles alone are going to hurt the bank account a fair amount. I'm just glad you and your wife are okay.

Man, you've had it rough lately. My power went out three times tonight but came back on (thankfully) in less than 5 min each time. I really need to start researching what generator to buy. I hope your power stays on @Grayfox54.

Glad you are okay & you have a generator. Hopefully everyone else is fine, too. Losing power over & over again has me thinking it's time to budget for a generator purchase in the near future.

It's the double action only Gen1...which I favor over the LCP II, but everyone has their own preferences.

@Erik88 I agree with @BigK, get the Honda w/EFI and pass on the carbureted Kawasaki. With crap ethanol fuel, EFI is less problematic over the long haul. I had a KLX250S that leaked oil from the get go, so not as keen on the Kawi's since then. Honda should be a good investment for you when you outgrow the 125cc & decide to go bigger (easier resale; holds value better.)
