  1. Henry lever, they make a youth size You'll be the best uncle EVER!
  2. I have absolutely no earthly idea what I was trying to say. Only thing I can think of is that I did find it online, was trying to say that, but was typing so fast and inattentively that autocorrect made my gibberish into word salad
  3. Well, no longer searching, but the stories are cool so not gonna ask for the thread to be closed. Wife (proud Owner) decided to go antique I had actually found a 73 tag with minimal sear Hong, good thing I didn't pull the proverbial trigger.
  4. Picked up a 73 CJ5 recently. Wife has decided it requires a vintage plate. If anybody has one (does it have to be truck?) I'm interested. Cash, ammo, MAC/DeWalt tools, seller's choice. No idea what the plate would be worth, I'm at your mercy. PM here or reply to this ad. If it's up, I'm looking.
  5. Since you decided to go public... When I texted I apologized and told you I'd had a death in the family and could no longer close our pending deal. First, not that it was any of your business, but my father died Thursday at 1215am. Sorry, travel amd funeral expenses come first. Second, regarding me looking for a shotgun and 17hmr, they're for a grandchild visiting soon who is eagerly anticipating learning to shoot. I choose to sacrifice to fulfill that desire over my own. Again, none of your business, but since you chose to chastise amd denigrate me publicly... There's an old saying: "Better to keep one's mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and prove to be one." Have a blessed day. Oh, and this site is awesome. Mods, please close this thread, I'll start another in a week or so.
  6. Traveling to Clarksville today and tomorrow (4/13-14). If there's a 410 or 20ga single shot please let me know.
  7. Different reasons for different firearms but these are my current desires. First, looking for a decent 17hmr, brand doesn't matter although I lean towards Ruger. Semi or bolt, like them both. Scope or no, I have a couple I could use so not critical but would consider either way. Second is a single shot 20ga or 410. Again, brand doesn't really matter. Wood or plastic, either is fine although cosmetically I prefer wood. I'm in Jefferson City, but the tool truck takes me up to Greeneville and Morristown areas. I'll also be in Clarksville this weekend 4/13-14 so able to meet anywhere close to in-between. Happy to pay for direct shipping from an established member, payment arrangements negotiable. Thanks for looking.
  8. Hope I didn't get the number wrong, I'm wanting the one without the green accents. Lee
  9. I'll take #2. I think this is number 4 or 5 for me. PM inbound.
  10. It's a Colt. It's a revolver. It's blued.
  11. Los of good info to think about. NOT doing a buried wire, way too many separate areas to cover, and the thought of digging 4-500 feet of clay makes my 60 year old back ache. I do like the idea of programmable areas, gotta investigate that more. Halo collar sounds interesting. Have to discuss the whole thing with JennTheToolWife and find out what I think.
  12. So, we got Bo the hound a year ago. He has long since outgrown the cable run I out up and needs more space. Problem is, he has selective hearing and prefers to demonstrate his inability to hear his name, so when he off-leash he wanders the neighborhood. So we need to fence part of the yard so he can frollick and run some. Looking for a fence installer to out in about 100-120 linear feet of 6' fence to close off the back yard. Two gates, one wide enough for a smallish lawn Tractor to get through. Located in Jefferson City. Payment in cash or tools (ToolGuy...) or a combination. Job to be done as soon as a deal is struck. PM here if you're a fence guy or know one. Oh, and if this is the wrong place, mods can move it with my apologies and appreciation
