Neat collection. I still have a brick of those old Remington KleenBores. My father used to have many bricks of them my great uncle liberated from who knows where. Over the years, we burned through most of them.

GT looked good, even if Roscoe P. Coltrane is their coach. In real football news, Vanderbilt looked solid in season opener against MTSU.

My wife has one, and even still has the box and paperwork. I never considered it a collictable. I guess you never can tell.

Looks like I'll be cooking dove breasts tomorrow afternoon, as we had a really good shoot today.

https://www.discounttire.com/fitmentresult/tires/searchBySize?aspectRatio=75&diameter=15&width=205&cat=trailer-tires I've become a big fan of discount tire. Not sure how close you are to one. If they don't have them in stock, you can order them on line. It has been my experience that they will call you the next day saying your tires are in.

New is the only way to go unless you're selling the trailer. I got tired of dry rotted, flat tires with good tread, so I put new ones on my utility and boat trailers. I'm glad I did.

I do have a bunch of frog legs in the freezer that need cooking.

I'll just do what mamma tells me.

On the flip side of that, I would prefer to pay $5 a gallon for gas and it be available as to see $2 prices and bags on all the pumps when I need gas.
-
If that is the sweet spot, and I agree it is, why would oil companies evee drop prices below that point?
-
Never rode one, but I really liked the looks of the V-Rod. Since it's gone, I'm betting a nice one would be a solid investment.

The ole Knoxville welcome wagon.

This is what I foresee. It didn't happen this past weekend however.

I was under the impression that refining took place here. Do we buy much gasoline, diesel, etc. already refined from other countries?

If you shoot the Smith better, go with it. Faster reloads too. I prefer a 22 LR revolver for a field gun, but I'm probably in a different field. If I need more than that, I usually take a rifle.

Picked up a rifle I never thought I'd have today

I once had a 10/22 in 22 mag, but traded it off after reading the horror stories of cracked frames. I really like that 96/22 however. Congratulations. -
I do not care for window stickers, bumper stickers, license plates, etc. I even go so far as to take dealership emblems off my vehicles.

You were correct. Texas got trounced!

I watched a niece play in the little league softball World Series years ago. They got the crap beat out of them first game, but did make it there. Now she coaches a high school softball team.

It's funny how a guy gets accustomed to dressing a certain way, and everything else feels odd. We are truly creatures of habit.

Little League is the pinnacle of baseball for me. I know a guy who has two sons that played in the Little League World Series (Goodlettsville). That has to be awesome. As for the cost of the bats, the ones they currently use are about $400 a piece. Wood bats would be a financial blessimg for the parents. My younger son had a custom wood bat made for him by Louisville Slugger. It was only about $60.
