I’ve always enjoyed your posts as well. I’m not sure why this particular topic has your knickers in a twist.

You hold the button that will fix this thread, Erik. Sorry! I don't know why I thought you were a moderator.

I can tell you one thing I've learned about Chuck. His opinions are not always mainstream, and I don't always agree with them, but I can't recall one that wasn't well thought out and gave me pause to look at a subject in a totally new light.

Sometimes you need to figure what might be prevented into the bid cost. I once paid a guy $400 to remove a limb. That sounds ridiculous, but it had to go, and the odds of me making a trip to the emergency room after attempting it myself made it seem much more reasonable after thinking about it for a while. He had the knowledge and equipment to do it safely. I had neither.

Not that anyone gives a chit what I think, but if there is going to be a ban on political discourse, it would need to be absolute in order to be successful. This thread is proof that even the moderators can't behave themselves. To leave a thread like open and expecting everyone to tiptoe around it is just asking for trouble.

and we seem to be focused on the one that ain't.

I agree. I'd love to tour many of the historical sites in Israel. This sort of thing prevents me from doing so.

I feel the same way about the invasion of our southern border.

I just saw on the news that 9 Americans were killed in the attacks. It sure would be comforting if we had some semblance of adult leadership in DC right about now.

Interesting piece of history. Yours looks to be in pretty good condition based on what I can see in the pics. I think Buffalo Arms sells ammo for these, but it ain’t cheap!

Awesome! I always enjoy your posts and pictures. You’ll never regret spending time with family

Well, the Titans finally looked like a football team today.

I think I beat this one today. Also at the local Piggly Wiggly.

Didn’t they but down one of the main companies who made the braces? Have they been allowed to reopen?

I hope you’re right. The BATFE cannot pass laws either…

I’ve found myself in three different districts in the last few years although I’ve had the same address for over 20 years now. I do not care for my current state rep.

Can David sue this organization for stealing the name of his forum?

Here's an original Remington chambered in 38 rimfire. I've toyed with the idea of trying to adapt a 38 Special cylinder to it, but probably never will. Although it retains virtually no finish, it is tight as a new one. I think the ivory grips are a nice touch as well. They are yellowed from age, but remain undamaged.

Looks good! The real surprise will come when you shoot it. Those rifles are amazing.

I have noticed a trend of venture capitalists buying up quality brands, replacing the products with cheap crap, and then bleeding it dry. Winchester, Remington, Craftsman, etc. come to mind. I suppose something similar could happen with internet sites.

Right next door! I didn’t dine there, but I figure the shirt will bring in the chicks. The wife talked me into one of those bus trips that took us to the U.P. Aside from the 3 1/2 hours we spent on the side of the interstate with a blown tire, it was a lot more fun than I expected. Most everybody else on it we’re my parents’ age. This would be a great place for older single men to pick up women. Had my wife not been with me, I’m pretty sure I could have gotten my name on several wills.

Before this gets out of hand.

You are close, sir, but not quite.

If you do, you’ll appreciate the fact “I got the t shirt!”
