  1. Moved to Florida a few months ago from Colorado (where humidity is not a factor). Golden Rod, combined with some rechargeable de humidifiers seems to keep my relative humidity at 50%. FWIW. Thanks for the additional ideas above.
  2. Service rifle shooters love Varget but hard to meter, and hard to find. H335 was an original powder for the 5.56mm cartridge, meters great, but you have to watch temperature sensitivity for competitive shooting. But for plinking its great. I load a lot of my Service rifle practice rounds for 200-300 yard stages and use H335..... FWIW
  3. Lee PERFECT Powder Measure 90858 I have one of these and it only costs $20 back in the day. It throws more accurately than my $200 RCBS powder measure..... good starting product but price has gone up a little over the years. FWIW
  4. Cool. Interesting to use a match bullet in a mid power caliber...... but with time and money, anything can be done!!!!
  5. NFA provides for a tax free transfer upon death, comments above are correct. Easy call to NFA 304-616-4500 and believe it or not, they will be helpful and walk you through what needs to happen. I am an FFL SOT for the last 17 years and could tell you some really funny stories about inheritances and "lost " NFA items.......
  6. Mom's family is from South Pittsburg, and some of the Tennessee high power ranges are an easy drive from our new house in Melbourne FL. Shot Service Rifle with an M-1 Garand, then an M-14 NM, back in high school, 1965-1968 then to The Citadel, Class of 72 and on to the Army. Now retired, and still shooting.
