  1. As has been stated multiple time and in numerous ways. No plan survives first contact with the enemy. The most likely to survive will be one's with the useful skill sets, have formed groups that are not too large for the amount of supplies that can be scavenged while being able to change tactics and mobilize on the fly. Ultimately , as resources become more difficult to find, it will the the best at adapting that will rule the day. As a great man once said: “It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one more responsive to change.” – Charles Darwin
  2. Ditto TGO Benefactor. I would recommend a whole house generator, if you can afford one. With a 2 week tank of fuel you can't go wrong. Especially if your area has a natural gas line that you can tap into. Even in areas of flooding the gas lines typically don't shut down which means you have power for the whole house as long as you need. Although, if you require more than 2 weeks of generator back up, probably should have evacuated.
  3. Difficult to say at best without the video and getting further context. However: 1. Shot the shoplifter several times while on the ground 2. "Kevin stated he had made the worst decision of his life," police said in his probable cause statement 3. "Kevin explained he was struck and decided to shoot but looking back, he realized it was egregious." 4. One employee in the store said that Madrid fired as many as 15 shots and admitted after the shooting that he could not control his anger I would go out on a limb to say that things do NOT look good for our friend Kevin!
  4. My most favorite and the rarest of the type 63 mags.
  5. For carry, used to be all about Sig. However, I really like and have switched to Shield .45. Was pleasantly surprised.
  6. My first was a .38 Super then went to .45 ACP. Loved them both. Have tried the 1911 in 9 mm and my 2 cents before taxes is its aight, not great.
  7. New to the site. Saw this thread and thought I'd leave this: http://www.mytargets.com/ These are free targets and are all printable and downloadable. They are in PDF format to ensure that they print to scale.

    Bank Run

That's going to be a problem. Most people do not read books and they are no longer teaching how to write.
