I found one on ebay! I asked myself. WWJB do? (WW John Browning do). This occurred right after I came in from the shop where I had begun machining an old wrench into the rough shape of the right hand cartridge guide. Funny how things work out with a bit of time and effort. Now just waiting on USPS. I'm looking forward to the Click Click Bang.

WTB Right side Cartridge Guide for a 1915 Winchester model 92. 25-20 / 32/20. I am having to shoot my old lever action as a single shot. Someone used a larger caliber RH cartridge guide. The 25-20 rounds are very loose when the action is opened. As I eject the spent casing, the next unfired cartridge flips out the top along with the spent shell. I have purchased a nice new carrier. Any condition would be OK. Even Some thing I could weld up and carve down to work. Some photos and measurements would be very helpful. I have searched and searched without success. Spent days on the internet exploring all the notable lever sites and vintage gun sites. There are dozens of place that offer the right guide but No one has one for sale Made a lot of calls to gunsmiths all over the country. no luck. I'm new at this and cant figure out how to post in the trading post. Ive got cash and or stuff to trade Richard B

Myg30, Thanks for the reply. Well i have made some progress. I bought a bunch of 32-20 brass, then sized em down to 25-20 with RCBS cowboy dies, loaded some FP gas checked 72gn .258 bullets that I cast myself. They soot decent groups. I am having to shoot as a single shot right now. The cartridges wont cycle properly from magazine to chamber. Someone put the wrong RH cartridge guide it. the cartridges are really loose on the carrier. Sometimes the upcoming round will eject along with the spent casing. So thats my new project. Finding a Right cartridge guide for a 1915 Winchester model 92 25-20 or 32-20. I've spent many hours on the internet and the ph trying to locate one. I would take one that is damaged , worn out or broken. Something a could use as a template to create from scratch. I wonder if anyone has ever 3D printed something like that. Holler back if you got any ideas. I'm in Knoxville.

Gregintenn, I have not found 218 Bee brass. I understand some folks have resized up to work in the 25-20 chamber. Just trying to e3xplore my options. I am still early on my lever action journey. Thanks for your reply. I am now closer to the 10 post requirement to be an active forum member.

Snaveba, Wow! Thanks for that link. I will likely be bidding on that lot. I plan to call McGowan Barrel later today to explore getting a .357 barrel made. I will have to decide where and how to spend. If I were to win that lot, I would also need to purchase reloading dies and source bullets or a mold. Have you bid and purchased on that auction site before?

Hi there icruz, Amazing indeed! If it weren't for the internet. I would be stuck for sure. I started with basically a box of 25-20 parts. Im a former civil war reenactor and once did some blacksmithing too. I can hardly imagine trying to create a gun barrel over a hundred years ago. Thank you very much for responding to my post. I am hoping to find information from an experienced reloader. It seems that Win 25-20 ammo is unobtainable now. So which is the best way to go, necking up a 218 Bee or reducing a 32-20? I understand I will have to purchase dies and maybe even modify 2 or more sets of dies. I had hoped to find a .38spl barrel to work on the old Winchester Model 1892 (1915) receiver but no luck there. Hi Guys! I'm a retired A/D counselor/ motorcycle mechanic. I enjoy working on vintage stuff. Current project is a model 1892 Win 25-20. I dont have even a single cartridge for that old lever gun. Barney Fife at least had one he always carried, I am an old reloader but have a lot to learn about creating something that will work from 218 Bee or 32-20 cases. Being new to his site i am a bit confused or just plain ignorant about how to accumulate 10 POST IN TEN DAYS. I understand this one does not count. Any instruction on how to make a post would be welcomed. I look forward to becoming an active member of this community. Thanks a bunch, RB
