  1. According to state law it's legal. According to the feebs it's illegal. If you do it, the BATFE WILL prosecute, the state WON'T protect you, and you will lose 10 years of your life and become a felon in the process. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yes, but not the same technical nightmare as producing a complete working firearm. It looks like the Montana Shooting Sports Foundation's lawsuit was shot down in '14 by the SCOTUS... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm not thinking about a gun... I'm thinking cans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Or is it along the same lines as them busting pot dispensaries in states that have legalized it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm surprised the TFA or NRA hasn't done anything on this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Nobody has tried this yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I've been doing some reading on the TN FFA. If I'm reading it correctly, I can manufacture a silencer or SBR without an NFA stamp so long as it is never sold, is produced and kept at all times in TN, is engraved "Made in Tennessee", and all major parts are made in TN. Am I reading that correctly? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Cool. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Found some thunderbolt ammo while visiting my Mom in VA. $70 per 550... Worth it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I've blown a misfired load out of a .50 cal muzzle loader with air before, but that's not as tight as a jacketed bullet in a modern gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I can't wait to whine about it being cold again!
  12. The guy that owns the gun said it does not like to feed flat nose bullets, I would presume this would include traditional HPs. Anybody have any experience with Hornady FTX? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks guys! I'm hoping to get working one up this weekend or next. Just trying to reduce R&D time as I don't have as much time to hit the range as I'd like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I am gonna work up some loads for a buddy's Ruger 96/44 that I'm gonna do some short range pig and possibly bear hunting with this fall. Do any of you guys have any pet loads for such a critter? I'm thinking probably 275-300 grain bullets, not sure on brand. He also wants me to load some rounds for his super blackhawk as well. I'm sure it will need a different load out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. That's kinda what I was thinking. Thanks guys. I'll contact charter on my lunch break. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. The cylinder turns freely and the hammer/trigger move freely. No binding, it just does not index to the next round sometimes. Pistol is mid 2k manufacture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The cylinder spins freely, problem happens empty or loaded, happens on random chambers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Wife has a Charter Arms Undercover that occasionally will not turn the cylinder on cocking or DA trigger pull. Disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. Did not see any obvious damage/wear. Gun has about 750 rounds through it. Any ideas aside from sending it back to Charter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. All I wanna know is what the #@^$ did she eat to cause her to be stuck on the crapper for two years.... My personal record is just over an hour with the stomach flu!
  20. 2 calls.... Hope it helps. Poor bastards in Illinois have it bad enough already as far as gun laws go.
  21. Hey, Don. Welcome... I hate to be the one to break it to ya, but all caps is really annoying.... Not trying to bust balls, it is just very hard to read. I wish I could give some insight on your question, but on this issue, just like normal, I am useless as a screen door on a space shuttle.
  22. Unfortunately due to a death in the family and all the crisis surrounding, I am afraid this will have to be indefinately postponed. I will try to set up another date sometime in the next couple of months.
  23. Dumb question, but if it has a 1911 grip angle, would it not have a magazine problem?
  24. Yeah, he wanted to get something he could pack a lunch in, then shoot, then after he gets home, he can put leftovers in it.
