Brass Monkey is a up and coming on strong... plus Jason (owner) is a great man a very good shooter. I used to shoot nothing but MG 115's but tried the BM 125's at 1,2 the price and will stay with the BM. BTW loading 125gr RN/4.2gr of TiteGroup very accurate.

Hodgdon VarGet fir the 55gr... Never been let down. can't speak for the other.

gregintenn, I think you must be missing the reloading boat... Most, well me, I reload for a hobby. Even with your argument (Min. wage) 350 rounds/hour + $10 (wage) plus 7 boxes of lead, $3.80/box = $36.60 so $5.23 a box... still adds up for me??? But if you don't enjoy reloading, I would pay double if I still wanted to shoot as much as I do...

I'm loading 9mm lead for $3.80 a box... Montana Gold for $7.00 a box... Could you please tell me where you all are buying 9mm's cheaper than you can reload them? If you don't shoot often then maybe it's not worth your time, maybe?? Thanks

I have an over flowing 5 gal bucket of once fired .45 brass. I would like to trade for once fired 9mm. Might consider selling if no trades. Also have 1/2 5 gal bucket of once fired .223 for trade to 9mm. Thanks

Boiling them, will the lube float? or how would I separate the Lead/Lube "You can order as-cast, non-lubed bullets" Yes But I have so many that I have bought over the years I would like to use these. "Mineral spirits" I've herd this... How long is the soaking? I have a homemade wet tumbler made out of C900 PVC. I would not be afraid to try if I knew the right solvent?? Thanks

Anyone have a recipe for removing lube from Valiant 125gr lead bullets? I have a small stock pile and would like to try my hand at Powder Coating some. I read somewhere about soaking them in a mixture of lacquer thinner and alcohol ? Thanks

DaveTN, Thanks for the link. The first thing was of course cleaning the die... I have been reloading for many years but only SS cleaning the brass for 3 years or so. Only started scratching the cases a few weeks ago. So foreign matter was what I thought. Cleaning didn't help but for some reason I didn't think of running it thru my ultrasonic cleaner?? After reading the link I think I will give it a try. Thanks

Dolomite_supafly, I knew I could count on you for your experience. No silencer, 5" STI Eagle. Just leading pretty bad after 200-300 rounds. I usually shoot jacketed but have all these Valiant 125's and just thought PC might be the way to go... Thanks for all the responses

Wiljo05, no lube. Not sticking at all, as I said just a faint scratch. I use SS wet tumble method to clean brass. I use a Dillon 550b, and the re-sizing die started leaving a faint scratch vertically down the case (9mm). Then after 2000-3000 more run thru it, it started leaving 2 faint scratches. I first cleaned the die and the scratches where still there. I called Dillon, after going thru what was happening the man that was helping me asked "how do you clean your brass". I told him and he said "that's it, you have scratched the die" he said "your getting it too d*m# clean". I told him I've never herd of that... So he says send it in and we will replace, I said no, if it's my clean brass fault i will buy another one. Well it came in, I replaced it and it is leaving a scratch???  Give me thoughts.

I have 15-20K of 125gr Valiant hard cast bullets. Is there anyway to get the existing lube off to be able to Powder coat them? Great bullets (for the price) I just really don't like cleaning a barrel that has had 200-300 rounds of lead thru it not to mention the the smoke from the lube.  Thanks

Not sure where some of you are getting your supplies...? But I reload, (only 9mm's)and my cost are Montana Gold 115gr.FMJ 4000/$355 ea..08875 = .090 TiteGroup $20/pound 7000/4.3gr 1,628 per pound = .012 Federal SSP $30/1000 = .03 Brass - range pick up Total per shot = 13 cents X 1000 = $132 So, I have never found a web site remanufactured or not (in years) that sells 9mm at the home reload price. I will say that you have to shoot a bit to pay for your new Dillon machine or whatever you choose. Just my .02, Start reloading and shoot

I have brass with head stamp WMA 14. I think its Winchester Nato? My question, everytime i run across a piece of it I will crush a primer when seating. I use a Dillon 550 with Federal SPP. I know Fed primers are the softest but i don't think thats the problem. I use brass from range pick up and the only time i have a primer seating problem it is a WMA... I've started sorting the WMA brass out. Anyone know why/what is the differnce with the WMA brass?? 

Dolomite, At the Bottom? What chart do you use for the Falcon?? Do I use "lead" on the charts for the Falcon Coated Bullets???
