  1. 16???!!! Country???!!! I don't think so on either count. Look at her gallery photos and listen to some of that "California Country" music(?). Looks like all her income went for fake boobs.
  2. How about a little feedback on what the other 80% is?
  3. Yep. Have spent a little time watching his enjoyable and informative videos. I'd much rather watch his than some of the ninja video crap.
  4. Probably the only awnser that will satisfy you will come from one of two sources; a criiminal lawyer who will likely interpret by local standards and details of your situation. And that likely won't awnser your direct question. Or a test case that will involve research that actually brings up this scenerio in which internet statements are brought to bear. And this is my speculation only. am not a lawyer and did't stay at some Holiday Inn. But if you, or anyone, makes enough statements of what he would do in this circumstance and it is in the public domain; I'd think it concievable that those statements could be used in court against him. But...are these statements non-specific or directed at one particular person or group? In today's climate, where verbal statements can get you called in on the multitude of "hate speech" crimes; I'd say it's possible. JMO
  5. Well said, brother bajabuc. And I fevrently hope none of us have to face that situation and find out. To own firearms for hunting, sporting, or defensive purposes doesn't mean a person is fully prepared to do "anything necessary" in whaterver scenerio might happen to them. It really just means they have a firearm; and may or may not have proficiency with that weapon to use it. As with any skilled endeavor, it means that hopefully the knowledge acquired thru use and repetion will be available to them in a high stress/life threatening situation and the mental acuity to react in the best possible manner. Circumstances and mental condition will dictate our responeses.
  6. Amen to that on all counts. The promos kept tauting "limited commercial interuption" or some sembelence of that. Boy was that ever a lie. Five to six minutes of program, then as minute or so of advertising for the program, then two to four minutes of regular commercials from Hyundai and the other sponsors. The show was fairly interesting, a few twists on old ideas. I'll probably watch it, but won't be upset if I should miss any. About the only interesting character was the "post apocalyptic warlord." At least he had some good lines.
  7. Beautiful 10 there graycrait. I've bought several older SW revolvers in the last year and they are great! Smooth action and good triggers. I'm rapidly remembering why I always had a k-frame in the range bag every time I went out shooting. Model 10's, 15's, 64/65/66 are all great. And of course that leads into the 686 series. You just really can't have enough of the SW line.
  8. Thanks for posting your conclusions. I also purchased the Beretta mag version, since I had quite a few left over hicap mags from my last Beretta pistol. I'm not sure I'd need to ever change out the mag type, but nice to know that possibility is available. Haven't taken mine out yet, hope to real soon.
  9. Is it really any surprise that the Chicago/Illinois liberal, anti-gunners seem to be at the head of the list?
  10. Perhaps I've missed the info, but is the time and place definite yet?
  11. Totally agree. From an old fart who doesn't need, use, or want facebook. I call or visit those I call friends.
  12. My very heartfelt condolences for you and your family, Raoul. I still miss my lost companions as well. The love and friendship they give can't be understood by those who don't love them, but they give us the closest thing to God's unconditional love that we'll find on this earth. Cherish the memories. I do believe you will meet again.
  13. Congratulations on your first 1911. In al likelyhood, it won't be your last. I don't own a Para, but have shot several. They're nice guns. As DaveTN says, I too find that the 1911 is much more pleasurable to shoot than most of my other autoloaders.
  14. A real neat looking package. I'd probably bite on a production version if the price was acceptable.
  15. Il Duce, fyi, Beowulf50 is unavailable until Monday, June 20. Probably late in the day would be best.
  16. I agree about the spreading. I have a steep upward slope beside my house that usually has some on the lower edge of the bank. This year it seems to have tripled or quadrupled in area. I can't even mow or trim near it without breaking out. Luckily for me, an old co-worker has a lawn service and he cuts it for me. The first year we moved here, I cut that bank in short and t-shirt. Right, very stupid. I was covered from head to ankles and miserable for about two weeks. Could barely wear clothes, and as with your experiences; it took steriod shots and oral prednisone to clear it up. My therory, at least for my area, is that last years' flooding spread the viness all over my hillside.
  17. Have shot Privi ammo is several different calibers without issue. No feeding problems, cases seem very good quality, and some do seem to be maybe a little hot-loaded; but again, no problems for me. And all that I've purchased has been pretty resonably priced, even back when the 380 was so high and in demand.
  18. Sure is. All those other things that require payment first really put a cramp in the gun budget.
  19. Congrats on the Ruger purchase. We agree that the problem isn't just finding a particular gun, but finding it at the price you ar willing to pay. I find lots of guns I'd like, but money does have to enter into the equation at some point.
  20. If this follows the norrmal pattern of addiction...this won't be your last. Congratulations on the purchase.
  21. A wonderful attitude to have. I only wish I could see evidence that other parents were trying to instill some type of morals and values into their children. But unfortunately today, no matter where you look, a large portion of the kids are wild, disrespectful, profane and just downright obnoxious. So it's very refreshing to hear your take on this as it does offer hope for some of the kids.

    Garden Thug

Me too. But I actually was reminded of Phil Valentine's Union Thugs, and thougt it might be similar to that.
  23. Not exactly a top 40 hit, but a great song.
  24. Yes, but I'm a little odd. I prefer a swing-out cyclinder for reloads. Just really never got used to emptying and loading one cyclinder at a time. Not dissing the Ruger at all, it's a fine gun, just not my personal favorite.
  25. I don't think so. The Nashville show was Bill Goodman Shows and the Murfreesboro is from RK Productions i believe.
