  1. I can't say that I totally agree with TN.Frank. I have owned several Keltec pistols...the 32/380/and PF9. Still have the 32 and find it a very decent accurate little pocket pistol. I had no issues at all with fit, finish, or function on any of them. As for the "cheap" feel, hey, it's a an inexpensive polymer pistol. Same as Glock, Springfield, Sig, S&W, etc. Polymer frames are what they are...a "plastic" frame to save on cost and weight. Comparably speaking, there's not a lot of difference between the LCP and the Keltec. Size, weight, feel, and the same long, funky trigger on both. As for cost and worth, well the marker and the market decides them. If it's priced too high and not "worth" the price to anyone, sales will go nowhere.
  2. Don't get too excited about it. In my next post, I'm planning on tearing you down for gripping so much.
  3. I agree with Caster 100%. One of the first things I ever learned about retaiiing is to make it as simple as possible for the customer to say "yes" to a purchase. Even that little bit of extra thought that goes into having to look something up can be a negative that will cause hesitation or confusion that often results in a lost sale. No matter how frivilous, ridiculous, and unnecessary this may seem to some of us, would you rather spend 20 seconds typing in a complete description and make a sale; or assume that every person who looks at these adds is as knowledgeable as yourself and be wrong and lose the sale? Just my unsolicited opinion.
  4. Personal opinion. Didn't like the Bodyguard at all. Hated laser on/off switch position. Looked and felt like a kids toy reject. Not saying the TCP is the best thing since sliced bread...but for me anyway, was far better than the Smith. And before you chastise me unmercifully, I'm a big fan of S&W guns. I have several wheel guns and autoloaders as well. Just think the Bodyguard was a rushed-out-the-door product.
  5. What was the question? Oh, yeah.......one? NO.
  6. Buy it quickly! Or...send him to me. At that price..I'll take a risk.
  7. Swweeettt! I'm really regretting selling my 220 these days. I keep seeing them everywhere.
  8. You are a good man. Not only did you get a nice rifle, and do a good deed for a young man and shooting sports, but you kept me from offering up my LCR. Actually I probably should have anyway. Never even loaded it...and after seeing your work, I was drooling over the 22/45. Even though I have a stock one just like it. So I'll just keep it for trade or maybe try to sell it sometime. I just really keep coming back to the Jframe and my Taurus for a revolver carry. The LCR feels good in hand, but after shooting one, I'm just not as excited about it as beforehand.

    Scout Rifles

Yeouccch! Beautiful rifle, but that's getting into Springfield Socom range. Save a few bucks more and go there.
  10. I'd vote for the Rossi 38. After my dad passed away in the early 90's, my mother carried one of his Airweight 38's for many years in her purse. I cleaned it regulary, till it started getting scratched up. Then gave her my Taurus Ultalite in place of it. She kept it in her purse until moving in with me. Thankfully never had to pull from the pursein fear, but it was always with her.
  11. Personal opinion, I don't think so. Was getting one and sometimes two emails a day and it was getting annoying. Had some good basic, commonsense information in all of the mails. But just way too geared to taking money from you for my taste.
  12. Thats my plan. And maybe wishfully that being OTD. I had quotes of 350-369 last fall on the first shipments. But now...Who knows?
  13. Hope it shoots as good as it looks! And that straight trigger is interesting.

    FNX .40?

Also recently acquired and FNX9. Haven't had any range time with it yet, but it sure feels good in my hand, holds well and is and easy pistol to line up sights on. The guy I got it from raved about it, telling wonderous tales of its accuracy. Joking aside, Haven't shot it but have seen it on the range and appears to be a fine weapon. Can't imagine the 40 could be much less so.
  15. Totally agree with your comments, barewoolf and vontar. I just thought I'd go and check oout my local shop and start the process rolling. Got a good relationship with several that I've bought and ordered enough from that I might get a little help on finding and pricing. Plus...it's a good excuse to go out and look.
  16. Thanks, Bender. I'll check my favorite local gu tomorrow and see what I can drum up.
  17. Thanks, barewolf. That just makes it that much harder to wait. Think I'll go out tomorrow and look around. Wonder what I might come home with?
  18. Congratulations, koolaid drinker. Welcome to the club. My first was a G22, then a G30, and a few months back a G19. Probably won't be the last. I'm rather envious of the EXO. Been looking at the info and thinking about one. Do you mind my asking what it's going for ther in Memphis? Haven't run across one in my usual haunts around here. I'm sure they are to be had, but I haven't run across one yet.
  19. Thanks for posting this information. Like you, I've been itching to get one since I first heard about them. And after I saw and held one, it was worse.Superlite..feels like a kids toy gun. Some I've seen havent had the best slide to frame fit, in fact I saw several you could see daylight from one side to the other. But still want to get one.
  20. I've watched since I found the first 2 seasons at Sam's Club for 10 each about five years ago. T first couple of seasons really didn't depict the US and CIA as harshly as in the later episodes. I lkied it enough to find secceeding seasons on e-bay and my wife really has gotten into it. But she has a real hard time getting the accents and sppech sometimes, so I try to explain for her. All in all, it's not too bad. It's at least better than a lot of the drivel we have to pick from here. As in Bachelor/Bachelorette, etc.
  21. Wow!! That's a big gun. No more performance anxiety now, huh?
  22. Man, that's a low entrance fee into the world of crumegdeonness. If I weren't already sceduled for my Scarcasm and Witticism in the 22nd Century...I'b be there with bells and beer!
  23. I'd agree with Mike357, old crumudgeon that he is. (I aspire to be like him someday). Unless it's a very thin-walled, light-weight storage box instead of a safe, I believe that's a more than fair price.
  24. I applaude all the fine work you guys have done. They all look really great and are unique in their own way. But crimsonaudio's folder is absloutely georgeous!
  25. Good lookin' pistola there, cap. I looked at one sometime back and decided to pass it up. Yep, right. Went back next day and a smarter person than me took it home.
