  1. And no cheating by going to the site! Like I did.
  2. Needs 2 eggs to moisten the bacon as you crunch it. Just dip it in the eggs and have at it.
  3. I amend my wish. Now want both the 2nd and 3rd from the bottom I like 44 Special. My 624 would like a roommate.
  4. That's ugly enough to work on this monstrosity. lol
  5. AND ALL WHO HAVE GIVEN BLOOD AND LIFE FOR HER. AMEN.
  6. Very Nice! I would take the 2nd from the bottom! Just as a gift, ya' know. lol
  7. OMG!! She's showing her ankles!!!
  8. And this abomination started it's life as a PLR-16! Rabbi would give you a lot of guff over this. lol
  9. Same here. Mom had me pick all we could get or find. She absolutely loved it. I reluctantly ate it way back then. Think of that, and her every time I see greens in any form.
  10. Slightly off OP, but that's one of the many things I like about this group. The concern for others. Checking on absent members is a mark of good people. When I was gone for an extended period, I found some searching for me. Me. A non important guy. But it was great feeling to know someone wondered.
  11. Don't mean to get into anything personal, but is Dolo ok? I had a few back and forth short conversations with him here, and found him to be an amazing man. In fact, just mentioned him during a talk with my wife today. She brought up the subject of my small collection of 22 rifles. Shouldn't I sell a few? Just keep a favorite. Well that choice took no time at all. For me. It is the 10/22 Dolo built some years back. I somehow managed to get it from him. It is an amazing rifle.
  12. Have to admit I have never had an Oreo, Heath and Butterfinger Combo. It will be my next DQ purchase. It sounds absolutely yummy!

    S&W M&P

Sometimes I think of getting another M&P. 9 or 45. Then I pull out my Caniks and wish they had one in 45. I probably would have to get one. I just prefer the Canik to the M&P. Also kind of digging that FNS-9. I'm finding that it carries like my and G19, and my Lone Wolf Gray Man. I do give the FN a slight edge over both. I do like the FN trigger more. Between you and TGO David, I've even checked out the FN 509. Not a great deal of difference, for me anyway between the S 9 and the 509, but I do like it. But I'm going to have to shoot one first before buying. Really holding out for an MRD model. lol
  14. I actually found it first and got my wife into the series. Of course once I got to see Katee Sackhoff(from Battlestar Galactica) in those tight uniform shirts and jeans....I was hooked! lol In reality though, Longmire was a pretty good series. We watched from the A&E days and trough the long years of waiting for the last seasons. The palpable tension between Vic and Walt kept the show going for the longest time. The finale with them finally getting it on was amazing. Then, being a Lou Diamond Philips made the show really good as well. He made Henry Standing Bear a favorite on the show. If you have the time and the inclination, read the books by Craig Johnson. IMHO...they are excellent. Sort of a Zane Gray meets Louis L'Amour meets the straight-laced detectives of the 50s. The Longmire show pretty much follows the written story, just not as much depth to the TV scripts. Craig John's books are Very Good reading. Walt's notion of law and honor make for a great setup for a man searching for the story behind the death of his wife and his efforts to handle a gaggle of strange officers and equally strange events in Absoroka County. Sorry, I'm quite a fan of the books and the Longmire series. I went hunting the books immediately after watching the show the first time. All are excellent and really fill in background for the show.. We've watched the series at least 4 times. lol And I'm on my second reading of Johnson's books. Yeah...I'm a fan.
  15. Thanks, DaveTN. That does it. I've got to read up on C&R though. Although what little I do know suggest that the firearms I purchase, or might purchase in the future are not of the category to make having a C&R license worthwhile to me.
  16. Really? I wasn't aware of that, but I admit I know next to nothing of the whole C&R setup.
  17. Yep...what all the previous guy haves said. All ammo is high. From merely higher to outright ridiculous. Check the prime distributors...PSA, Ammoman.com, etc. Everything has gone 30-50% up in the last few months. I've seen 9mm around 30 each. And I almost bought another case! lol Buy by the case if you can. That's your best bet right now. Buying from most LGS's and ranges will eat your budget pretty fast.
  18. Use a Marker!!! Hilarious!

    Trippin

Congrats on getting out! The Pigeon Forge Car Shows are fantastic! We haven't been in years, but always loved it. I personally liked the Ford Truck meets. Strange though...I'm a Chevy guy. lol Hey, enjoy it all!
  20. I kept saying I was going to get one from PSA during sales. Never did. But as you say, I've heard and read enough good things about them to risk a 100+ for one. If it doesn't suit on a pistol, it's of a decent size for a small rifle as well.
  21. Actually...I meant my family. Not the local residents.
  22. LOL! I got all those too!
  23. Dang I'm slow today! I've looked at this for about 3/4 minutes and just realized it wasn't a set of boobs! Then another few seconds to pick up on the mask! I'm losing it today! lol
