I've looked at these devices, manual and the newer biometric scanners. I chose the manually operated version. It's in my bedroom. But to be honest...I don't use. Damn! I just hate it when we seem to think alike! I watch the index numbers on all the speeches, and have seen the same thing happen. He speaks and index will drop 5 points or so immediately. Como has delusions of grandeur. He wants to be President so bad he can taste it. It's evident in his multi-times daily updates and his attitude in general. He believes this current disaster will place him in the public eye as a take-charge guy, a man in control, and able to get things done quickly to save us all. And looks like that is happening. He (and if I make throw out my on ideas) and others are positioning Como to come in and replace Biden. To rally and save the Democrats at the convention. A young, strong, democrat leader. One able to step up and take weak, old Uncle Joe's place and lead us all to greatness again.

My problem with Fauci is that he seems to be thoroughly enjoying himself with his Q&A on-air time. The man looks like a comedian ready to deliver a punch line to his audience. Wait...did I just accidently stumble onto something here? What id he actually is just waiting to drop something extraordinary?

A long story for another time, but I absolutely hated him when a certain song of his was released. I got a lot of grief over it. When that one faded away, I really began to like and admire him. We, Susan and I, are both in the same situation. Me worse so. Hate the absolute idiocy of the background vs vocal levels in movies these days. I'd say 50% or more of the current crop of movies have vocal tracks that are darn near inaudible. Even using the remote controls for what little variance it gives, we strain to hear some things. Musical background and blasting sound effects get to be painful in the effort to hear dialog. I'd been thinking along the lines of a sound bar, but really hadn't looked at anything. I'm a very tactile person and just have to touch and see what I think about buying(mostly lol firearms excepted). The stores I frequented before Corona days, didn't have much to look at. Granted, I didn't go to places like Nickelsons to look. So I guess I'll start with your recommendation, and start checking on Amazon for ideas. Thanks.

Geez! You guys make me feel inadequate. Got a few S&W wheel guns, but can't come close to most of you. But I will say my 2 model 19s are my favorites.

My Dad's "88 Chevy still going. Don't have it as an everyday driver though. But afraid to take it far, has too many issues. Might be time to let it go.
