  2. Thanks for all the votes, but I have to wonder, did I win or lose? LOL
  3. I looked up the law on scanners once about 13-14 years ago and (then) the law basically said you are free to listen to a scanner all you want where ever you want as long as you are not using it to aid in the commission of a crime.
  4. Its a shame you are so far away, I have one and would be more than happy to let you shoot it. If you ever get up around Nashville let me know. Its not a tack driver, but for what its for, (battle rifle, bug out, home defence...) its more than adequate.
  5. Not trying to stir things up, but as I understand it. Long guns may be purchased out of state but MUST only be purchased from a dealer. Hand guns or purchases must be transfered to an in-state ffl and transfered to you. Clear as mud?
  6. #4 is a Springfield Armory Bi-tone light weight model. .45 auto.
  7. How is this for ugly?
  8. The only place I have personally seen it is the Pilot at exit 172 in Dickson, Tn.
  9. I agree with that, however I don't think it should give the parents access to the U.S. whenever they feel like being here.

  11. a 6 foot ladder with a 11ft ceiling only leaves 5 ft to be covered, very "doable".
  12. This started in 1934 and you will still serve prison time.
  13. How about a little more info, like where is it?
  14. I am no expert, but it was to my understanding that the ammo and gun must be in separate containers, ie.. gun in locked hard sided case and ammo in proper box in regular luggage. I have not flown in a long time but has it changed?
  15. yet one MORE reason I won't re-join the NRA.
  16. I have one of those, holler at me David and I will be glad to come help you tune up.
  17. I don't know the law on this, but an unloaded and disassembled gun would be legal to be transported in a car, how would this be much different legally?
  18. So some one explain to me why the SCOTUS upholds the 1986 mg ban.
  19. I don't even put one in my truck. I personally feel there is no good use for one anymore.
  20. Been thinking of doing the same stock on my Savage, let us know how it turns out.
  21. I couldn't find any reference in Handgunlaw.us but are rifles legal for carry in a motor vehicle like in Tn? ie. loaded magazine and not chambered?
  22. I just joined.
  23. I have a Nikon n-90s, Canon rebel, Mamiya RB67, and a calumet 4x5 view camera as well as a LOT of accessories and shelf hangers. Gosh I could go on all day just on accessories.
  24. Wow!!! 500 yards with a .22? HOLY BEANS!
  25. From what I read on it in a review, the dimensions of the lower are slightly different that a 5.56 so they can not be swapped. I only assume that is because of the polymer lower possibly not being strong enough, but I am not an engineer and didn't stay in a Holiday Inn express last night so.....
