  1. This is the best and used on all slide's on all HG'S I own....    COOP
  2. I use the medium on my full size 9mm and the 9C compact, they just feel right but both have custom stippling on the backstraps from a guy off the M&P forums.    COOP
  3. This exactly what I also do to all my .223/5.56 brass, put it in a chordless drill and work on them while watching TV...     COOP

    Glock rusted!

A Glock that will rust? Huh, who would have thought it? Definately change oils and try Slip 2000. It will be the last oil you ever buy. COOP
  5. I love the P6's and Sig black would be my choice. COOP
  6. Take the upper and lower receiver apart, slide the BCG into the upper slowly until the lugs lock up looking for any obstructions like maybe the gas tube is bent a little and rubbing or binding with the gas key on the BCG. Did you check the head space with some go/no go guages? Also while you have the receivers apart to see if the chamber is tight put a round into the chamber by hand, will it go into and out of the chamber easily? COOP
  7. I've owned all three, XD, M&P and Glocks and I'm a Glock armorer. The XD I bought new broke on the 3rd mag of ammo I was running through it before I left the gun shop (G&L) they exchanged it for a M&P. The slide stop broke off, probably doesn't happen very often but it did happen. Then I got into Glocks, love the G19 and bought a new gen4 G17 for IDPA but after a summer of shooting and 3 different trigger connectors I still was shooting low left and didn't like the way it felt in my hand. The I decided to buy a M&P Pro 9mm 5" and have shot it all summer in IDPA and it is and outstanding gun, I shoot it very well and the Apex comp trigger is awesome. I just bought the M&P9c for carry and love it. I do not own any Glocks or XD's. I do own 2 M&P pistols and a M&P15T AR. Your mileage may differ. To the OP, shoot all 3 and buy what feels right in your hand and shoots the best for you!!!!! COOP

    Fully Auto Glock

I had a chance to fire a Glock 18 during one of the local advance hand gun classes, most fun I ever had with a Glock, 30 rounds under 2 seconds!!!!! COOP
  9. I've been reloading 124 grn, plated and FMJ bullets for IDPA, my local reloading shop gave me some sample 125 grn, Precision bullets to try, does anybody have ant experience reloading these? They will be used only for IDPA, my current formula is 124grn FMJ with Titegroup powder loaded at 3.7 grn with a OAL of 1.120, CCI small pistol primers and assorted brass. The Precision Bullets are a lead based bullet wit a coating I plan on shooting through my M&P Pro 5". So I'm looking for real life experience with these bullet and a new recipe? Thanks in advance!!!! COOP
  10. Hey all, thanks for the replies and now I'm thinking about a carbine length for a build that will be going to a friend of mine, it will be his first AR!!!! I have everything but a barrel so I'm looking at a cheap light weight barrel on Midway for $149 but will need the gas tube, delta ring, compression rings and retaining ring. I wish I could find a kit that would come with all parts except the upper receiver and hand guard? Thanks again!!!!! COOP
  11. I like the Outpost armory but over priced IMHO. The restaurant has been closed for a while now and replaced with reloading supply's... COOP
  12. In middle Tennessee around the Lebanon area, Lebanon Gun Shop, great people, prices and a good selection. Lots of Sigs, Kimbers, Glocks and reloading supply's. They are my GO TO gun shop hands down!!!! COOP
  13. I have so many AR-15 spares I've decide to do another build, I have an upper receiver, and buying a Aero Precision stripped lower from Lebanon Gun Shop but I need a budget barrel, 16" M4 profile, chromed lined, mid length gas system so I'm asking the TGO friends if you have seen any budget barrels? This will be a truck/car gun to beat around with, any suggestions? Thanks!!!!! COOP
  14. Does anybody know when or how they will post prizes and giveaways? Thanks again everybody MCTS, all of you did a great job. My 20th place finish is a little disappointing but I don't shoot Glocks very often but still had a great time!!! COOP
  15. I also had a great time at the match and I know all are busy prepping for the GSSF match but will somebody post the results from the Gallatin match so I can see how bad I did!!! COOP
