They can ship directly to your FFL; however, some FFLs will only take shipments from other FFLs. I don't think you'll have a problem with the ones I mentioned but you should contact them first.

Yep that's pretty much it. Just call the FFL to let them know to expect a gun for you. Bellshire is fine, Guns and Leather in Greenbrier/Hendersonville charge $25+$10 for TICS. Nashville Sporting Arms on Charlotte Ave in West Nashville will do them for $10+$10 TICS for TGO members.

A direct hit with a 5.56x45 will have better terminal ballistics than .45 ACP. It kills people deader.

What brand did you try? I like Kubler and Grande Absente pretty well, but they are on the pricier side. I think the Grande was $60 for a fifth.

I don't know about purchus, but you can purchase one. I don't know where you'll find a document that says it's legal, there's no law against it though.
