  1. LOL, no the carry handle found a new home.
  2. Kevo

    Sig 226 or?

You need to sow those wild oats before you can ever make a serious commitment to your Significant other. I vote you take a hayride with a couple of Czechs.
  3. Kevo

    Bersa .380 CC

I'd clean it, put a grease type lubricant on it and give it another chance. I'd be tempted to clean it dry and manually rack the slide back and forth a fee hundred times before I greased it up. Limp writing can make any semiautomatic pistol jam. I've never shot a Bersa but this the first complaint I've ever read about as far as reliability goes. What lubricant are you running?
  4. I assume you have 2 pockets. Get both. Shoot both. Carry both. I personally prefer as light as possible in my pocket.
  5. While showing my friend how to field strip his brand spanking new Blued Sig P220 several years ago I: 1- Removed the magazine 2-Racked slide twice and then locked it open 3- Visually inspected the empty chamber 4- Rotated the "disassembly lever?" with my thumb 5- Hit the slide release lever with my thumb 6- Watched in horror as the entire upper half (of a blued mint pistol my friend had scoured the internet looking for) sailed off the porch and barely cleared his sidewalk by a few inches. Everyone makes mistakes.
  6. I wear 9.5W Thorogood shoes almost every day but Sunday. GLWS

    Sig Sauer p232

Quality 380 that will never go out of style.
  8. Coonan fits 357 Magnum in a single stack semiautomatic pistol. I'd use that as a starting point. Maybe even a Desert Eagle?
  9. Thanks for bringing this subject up for discussion. Unfortunately, I suspect the people who need to be more aware are not TGO members and assume they are completely safe opencarrying even though they are unware of their surroundings.
  10. I'm just gonna echo what others have already commented. Where is your primary and where do you plan to carry your backup. My votes would be a S&W J-frame, a KeltecP32 or just another magazine/speed loader for your primary. Or a brick, never needs reloading...
  11. You might want to add a different link, the Academy link says it has an alloy barrel, a statement that would dissuade me even if my rathole wasn't currently only full of echoes. I didn't know steel was an alloy until Peejman's comment below. Tristar describes it as having a steel slide and an aluminum receiver. Free bump for a fellow SETNTGO'er! Edited after Peejman enlightened me.
