    legal or no?

Would it be illegal if I bought a handgun under my name and then give it to my grandson when he is old enough to legally possess it?
  3. This subject came up this past weekend during conversation with new friends. I said it is legal to carry with permit in such situation, (restaurant that serves alcohol ), they disagreed. I admit I have been lazy as far as keeping up with any new laws lately so I'm asking about current law?
  4. We have a brand new indoor shooting range in northwest TN, we have been wanting one for a long time and finally got it! Check it out! https://southtownshooters.com They also have a facebook page!
  5. Thanks folks! I knew I would get the low down on this from yall! Next time I will check snopes for myself, the email I got showed copied text from snopes but not all of it....
  6. I received an email speaking of this, HR4646, supposedly it is a 1% tax on basically all bank deposit transactions that will go in effect in Jan.2012. I thought some of you may be up on this is it is true. How about it? Anyone know anything about it?
  7. Sorry, if there is no official hunting season on any animal in TN, then you can not hunt it. There is no hunting season for turtles.

    NEW TOY

Pretty tacticool looking rig and I'm guessing you don't have a lot tied up in it...nice toy!
  9. My wife has one and it is sweet! It is a very accurate gun, hers is 9mm. Neither of us has carried it but we do enjoy shooting it when we get the chance.
  10. i have the P22 and have shot a mosquito, I really did not like the trigger on the mosquito. I have had good luck with my P22, it is not a tack driver but it is fun to shoot.
  11. This, H715-M W.C. [H715-M] - $30.20 : Don Hume Leathergoods, manufactures high quality leather and nylon goods. has become my favorite holster, I have one for my glock and one for my kahrs.
  12. If you have not bought yet I would advise you to buy one that is water cooled. I burned up the engine in a little suzuki 4x4 I had a few years back that was air cooled. If you are gonna be doing slow moving work with it I strongly encourage getting a water cooled quad.
  13. I was just giving info as to where OP could get in touch with a twra agent on another board and chose not to post a link because I did not want to break any rules.
  14. Thanks for the quick response folks! I knew some of you would have great info pertaining to this. I will pass the info along to my friend.
  15. When you break down the barrell should the shells eject with enough force to "throw" them over your shoulder and onto the ground? I have a friend who owns one and he said when you break it down you have to take the spent shells out by hand. It is a twenty guage if that matters... Thanks in advance!
  16. Okay, pretend I am an idot, (not too far a stretch) so all this means I can legally carry now in restaurants that serve alcohol and bars? Or just restaurants? I do not go to bars anyway, but just so I understand the law. Thanks!

    Kahr KT9093

I also daily carry a kahr, either the PM40 or CW40, whichever I am in the mood for. I have found that either of these handguns point very naturally for me as they fit my hand so comfortably. I highly recommend any Kahr!
  18. Don't know about K-ville but where I live you can not shoot anything inside city limits. Also, in Tenn. you can not legally kill anything there is not a current hunting season open on. If you were to get caught shooting animals out of season you could be charged with poaching, not to mention no license, discharging weapon inside city limits etc. You might want to look into some non lethal traps to catch the little critters then carry them far away from your property.
  19. Nice start to a good collection, you will be glad you bought the safe for sure!
  20. AMEN! Folks! God bless us one and all while we remember how much he did and still does love us all, that's a lot of love to give ones only son for our sins so that we could be saved from eternal damnation.
