  1. nice!! I almost named my dog Ruprect. "what did we do when uncle ted was here?" hahahahaha
  2. the only reasonable explanation as to why a shop owner would post that they dont allow law abiding citizens to carry inside is to let the neighborhood criminals where to go when they need to rob someone for quick cash. I just dont understand peoples logic. it angers me deeply.
  3. um....what?! Id laugh if a gun store employee asked me to do that....laugh then leave. and never go back.
  4. good shop. Everyone there has been very helpful... OP...mostly just had to reply because your login name is great....assuming thats from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels?
  5. I live in Murfreesboro about 10 minutes from the Outpost. Guns and Leather is over an hour from me. I do not hesitate one second to drive the distance to the fellas at G&L. some of the best group of salesmen ive dealt with. I spent so much time in there looking and asking before my first pistol purchase...they were always a pleasure. The handfull of times ive dealt with Outpost, I promise myself that ill never bother with them again, no matter how close they are. whoever owns that place really needs to re-evaluate his/her practices. and they also need to kiss my a....nevermind.
  6. tons of great ideas here.......I handt even thought about looking for a small end table...I dont want to spend a bunch on something temporary...when we buy our house, Ill get a proper perm set up. I think taking a trip to some thrift stores may be beneficial before i decide on a setup. Thanks again!
  7. I found this... the press is mounted on the slanted top shelf....would the slant present a problem? http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad335/derekgeorgeshields/eef1bb3a.jpg[/img]
  8. strictly loading pistol right now...I think my saturday will be spent in my dads garage with some wood and tools building something haha.
  9. Ive seen the portable stand on midway...really small with the round bottom...thats perfect. Ive heard that its not very sturdy due to the base being too small....any opinions on this?
  10. search function.....what is that? thanks!
  11. good advice...thanks for this...it never crossed my mind.
  12. Im getting my reloading bench setup...ive got the supplies, jsut looking for a good bench. The problem im having is size. I live in an apartment and my wife doesnt want me to devote the spare room to reloading. I have a storage room on my patio, so id like a workbench i can pick up and move from the room to the storage area. I thought about building my own, but if anyone has some suggestions, Id be happy to hear. Lets see some pics of your setup....My press is RCBS single stage if that matters/helps Thanks!
  13. i cant agree more. reading the OPs post, sounded like it was written by me a couple months ago. I saved up and went with a Sig 238...hands down WELL worth the extra money....i cant tell you how much better they are...the cheaper 380s are a pain to shoot, the bodyguard is ok, but still nothing in the ballpark of the Sig.
  14. IF you want an enjoyable .380, i cant tell you how great the Sig P238 is. I was hesitant at first, but its definitely my favorite pistol now. shoots great, and conceals easily.
  15. Agreed. I just got an email that I couldnt receive a PM because my inbox was full. Only had 50 PMs too.
