  1. Great info.. can't wait to get it out and do some shooting Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  2. I suppose what I meant by rare was that there is only 1 in .44 mag that I could find on gun broker and just a few in .357.. doesn't seem to be a lot of them on the market and I've never seen one at a range but I'd say they might be safe queens at this point Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
  3. So I recently picked up a browning .44mag B-92 on a trade and didn't know a ton about it but beginning to think its a pretty rare lever gun. Serial indicates it was made in 1980, wood and blueing are in excellent shape. Anybody have any idea the value/any other good general information on these rifles? 4. Not to dig up an old thread, but having grown up in Maryville and stumbling across this, it hits close to home. I grew up with two of the children of two of our city councilmen. Fun fact about Joe Swan who is a really great guy (http://truewestmagazine.com/jcontent/history/history/ask-the-marshall/3859-what-happened-to-davy-crocketts-rifle-qbeautiful-betsy). Tom is a really nice guy, and I've always given him my business at commercial cutters in Maryville, but we certainly can't talk politics and find much common ground. Hate to see he joined up with such an ignorant cause and signed off on an article in the times could not have made the cause or the mayor sound any less informed on the topic. I'm glad it was written as it was because the comments on the article make it clear there are still people out there that think logically. Topics like this also explain why I bought my first house after graduation from UT in the county..   Link to City Council Members http://www.maryvillegov.com/city-council-members.html
  5. Not exactly in the best part of Knoxville either. I saw a gentlemen who had no business being there holding a pistol sideways and pointing straight into a crowd. It was obviously secured and slide locked back but that kind of stuff doesn't fly with me. Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx using Tapatalk 2
  6. No problems out of mine, no hiccups or misfeads after about 200 rounds, hopefully this will continue. I really like the trigger pull, I've fired a buddy's sigma, and it sure beats the heck out of it. Really simple to field strip and clean, I think for the price its tough to beet as far as 9mm goes.
  7. I actually just posted on your socom thread... campaign didn't take long at all to beat, you should be done soon. Does anyone know if you can play online with someone to complete the coop missions?
  8. Anyone still playing socom? It came with the bluetooth headset I purchased. Not had a chance to look at it yet, but I've heard good things. I'm "walker_tx_rngr" on ps3.
  9. Yeah, what was up with us getting split up? I thought if you were in a clan on Team Deathmatch it would keep you together?
  10. Are you using firefox? That's been a feature in firefox for a while now (it will do that in XP too) not sure if MS has incorporated it into IE or not. I found the information below to revert back to the old way in firefox. 1) Enter about:config in the location bar to access the advanced preferences. Accept the “This may void your warranty messageâ€. 2) Look for browser.urlbar.matchOnlyTyped and double click it to set it to TRUE. As for my two sense, I like 7 alright, but I think microsoft messed up not having an upgrade option. I think that just gave people reason to go ahead and make the move to the mac. Microsoft extended support of XP until 2014 so I see no huge rush to upgrade. I've got a 64 bit copy of 7 running that I got free from UT, and it does fine, but I'm not overly impressed.
  11. Anyone be on tonight? Ought to setup a "TGO" clan tag
  12. I'm walker_tx_rngr, not real good, but I like to give it a go.
  13. Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up.
  14. Wasn't exactly sure where to post this, couldn't find anything on it previously... Was recently looking on Gun Broker and stumbled across someone selling this barrel. Says it was originally 18.5 inches and it has been shortened to 16.5 inches. Is this legal to buy from an individual on the internet? I was under the impression that a 16.5 inch barrel went under the NFA regulations? Mossberg 500 Shotgun Barrel : Barrels at GunBroker.com
