  1. I always loved growing up listening to the scanner with my grandparents and parents.....cant do that much anymore now. Could anybody give me some of the best channels i can LISTEN to over in West Nashville/Pegram area. I just love to listen in. I was reading some last night and got the weather stations programmed, just didn't know if anybody could tell me what some of the repeater stations are or if any of the emergency frequencies that are not trunked in my area? I live in Pegram and work in Franklin. I have just been putting the unit on scan and stopping and saving anything i come across as well. Thank you in advance!
  2. So what im gathering....... Put TSA lock on luggage.....bc i will be putting hard shell case inside luggage, and put personal lock on gun case and label with cell # (thats a really good idea). And I'm good to go on 1 unopened box of 45acp......?
  3. I will be flying in the next few weeks and have a few questions. I will be using a hard style pelican case. I will be taking along my 1911 and spare mag. Can I put a full unopened box of ammo in this checked pelican case? Do I need to buy the "TSA" approved locks? Can I put my pocket knife in this locked Pelican case with my Firearm? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated......haha I usually just drive to where I'm going.
  4. Video helped a little. I just don't want the mag being exposed like this in my Kimber. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. From looking at the picture on the website it looks as if the base plate doesn't cover up the extension part? It's just a big baseplate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Is there something I can get where the stainless part won't stick out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Picked up my first 1911 for Christmas from my wife! It holds 8rd magazines. I would like to run/have and extra mag that is a 10rd but I don't want the stainless sticking out. Is the picture below a 10rd mag with a black cover/baseplate or a 1911 mag extension? I'll attach pictures of my Kimber as well as the Kimber with the magazine extension I am talking about. My Kimber Pro Covert II Here is the magazine I'm talking about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The wife and I are wanting to find a good cabin to rent for the weekend. Anywhere within 2-3 hrs drive of Nashville. We want a secluded cabin that's not right next to others. We don't have to be able to get into the city and go shopping. We would rather be able to go hiking or be out of all the commotion. Any suggestions? Seems like everything I find are right next to each other.
  9. He re wired a bunch on stuff on the panel. He tried to explain the neutral wires and ground wires but I didn't completely comprehend what he was talking about. He just said that the reason for the problems were the way the dryer and stove were wired up and they were trying to make a ground through the entire condo and then ending up at the hot water heater. When he was messing with some of the wires on top of the hot water heater some of the lights were flickering. He made our place "safe" for now. He said there was a brand new box on the outside of the building but he couldn't get into it and said that the problem was probably inside the box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The dryer was searching for a ground and kept running until it found one. He said it's just bc of the older wiring in the building. Newer stuff is not wired like this. We have a 3 prong outlet and 4 prongs are required for anything newer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Electrician is supposed to come out today. Here is my panel. I'm in a condo complex but own my own unit. Could possibly not be part of my problem but an issue outside of my unit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yea I'm not touching anything. I've flipped the breaker for the dryer and hot water heater. Calling somebody Tomo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Whenever we turn on our dryer the top of the hot water heater sparks.... Any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. His working is amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
