Say what you will, but it's the dipstick slinging an AR for a trip to Walmart that gives them a story in the first place.  Long guns are for imminent threats, pistols are for defensive carry.  If he needs his long gun, his pistol is the primary means to fight his way to it.

Of course this guy is a dipstick, but leave it to MSN to milk it for all they can.

I've got to say I just found a new version that I might like better.....

The CZ 75 SP-01 SHADOW ORANGE pistol differs in new procedures and operations added as a part of the serial production process (e.g. the manual fitting of the barrel, the lateral definition of the free movement of the bolt and the sophisticated trigger mechanism). The gun has a burnished barrel and its "orange 2012" name is based principally on its long thin and aluminium grips of that color. The weapon is presented in an identical case to that of the CZ 75 TS CZECHMATE.

    FEATURES:

    • handmade barrel matching and precise slide side setting
    • Improved trigger mechanism
    • polished barrel
    • metal polished recoil spring guide
    • polished recoil spring + recoil spring set (13 lbs. And 11 lbs.)
    • Polished main spring + main spring set (13 lbs. And 16 lbs.)
    • Buffer set (3x thick, 2x thin)
    • orange grips - thin, long (aluminium)
    • 3x magazine with aluminium magazine bottom (orange)
    • defender type rear sights and red fiber optic front sight 5,5 x 2,5 x 1 mm
    • newly designed sa/da hammer
    • cleaning oil, cd, polymer case
    • better shooting comfort, increased accuracy.
    • more stable recoil during shooting.
    • Parts service life increased.
    • smooth and precise trigger mechanism.

  4. A U.S. Marine Colonel was about to start  the morning briefing to his
    staff.

While waiting for the coffee machine to  finish brewing,   the colonel
decided to pose a question to all assembled.

He explained that his wife had been a  bit frisky the night before and he
failed to get his usual amount of sound  sleep.

He posed the question of just how much  of sex was "work" and how much of
    it was "pleasure?"

A Major chimed in with 75%-25% in favor  of work.

A Captain said it was 50%-50%.

A Lieutenant responded with 25%-75% in  favor of pleasure, depending upon
his state of inebriation at the time.

There being no consensus, the colonel  turned to the Private First Class
who was in charge of making the coffee and  asked for his opinion?

Without any hesitation, the young  Private First Class responded, "Sir, it
    has to be 100% pleasure.

The colonel was surprised and as you  might guess, asked why?

"Well, sir, if there was any work  involved, the officers would have me
    doing it for them."

    The room fell silent.

    God Bless the enlisted  man.

The US military should have been allowed to fight to win before US citizens' freedoms were reduced within our country.

The U.S. Military hasn't been allowed to fight to win since before Vietnam.

You know, I get the idea of protesting the liberties that have been encroached on and freedoms that have been violated by knee-jerk reactions as a result of 9/11 but what @Chucktshoes needs to remember is that none of us here [likely] enacted any of those new laws or asked for them in the first place.  This thread was obviously intended to remember those whose lives were lost on 9/11/01 and it is still valid for that.

Let's not sink the thread just because one or two people saw podiums instead of coffins.

The thread was sunk when that meme was posted. :2cents:

We were remembering the fallen until you showed your butt. I'm not sure what you're doing ChuckT, but it is very disrespectful and has no place in this thread.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and my opinion of ChuckT , on a scale of 1 to 10 has just reached "0".

  8. The Washington Redskins finally drop offensive name.
    >>
    >> Dan Snyder, owner of the NFL Washington Redskins, has announced that the team is dropping "Washington" from the team name, and it will henceforth be simply known as
    >> "The Redskins."
    >>
    >> It was reported that he finds the word 'Washington' imparts a negative image of poor leadership, mismanagement, corruption, cheating, lying, and graft, and is not a fitting role-model for young fans of football

How many of you are willing to risk your livelihood, take an unpopular stance for liberty, speak out against injustice, and stand up for what's right?

This gentleman also makes a very solid point.

I know when some inexpensive things that are manufactured they pull a few samples every so often and when they find a problem they dump x number of the product before the sample without testing and then start looking for the problem. If ammo dealers did this I could see them shipping the dumps to the cheap outlets and the good stuff to those willing to pay more money. Or I could have been lucky on the first brick and the rest that I bought will be crap :x:

Well I got my answer today, I was just lucky on the first brick. Open a fresh brick today and had 3 duds in the first 50-60 rounds. Oh well it is just plinking ammo, I will get through the 2000 rounds, but will chose when I'm shooting it when I can take care of duds.

Well at least you have some ammo to hold you over until you can score something better.

    Good luck:cheers:

Doing stupid things when your young is a learning process. The best you can hope for is that you out grow it before you really screw up. It sounds like you have your act together.
